Making invincibility

I got this idea called invincibility where in middle of the game you step on a trigger and some how your health goes to infinity for 5 mins then you have normal health again but how can we do this?
i think this would be something cool we can reasherch and try to test
THIS IS PLATFOMER ONLY TESTS

I’ll start working on it. If I find it I will tell you.

sounds good remeber the trigger makes the person have infinty health for 5 mins even if they touch a laser set to 45837 damage it wont get damage then after 5 mins they go back to the health the creator sets it to

true invicibility isn’t possible, but you can make a player invincible to everything except for oneshots using a trigger loop that activates a health granter.

I will try it out now. Hope it will work. If it does not I will work on it in my free time.

right thats what were reaserching is how to make them have infinty health when they step on a trigger and the person who made the game can decide for how long .

Ok. I will work on not having the loop

I think I might have found it

cuase with this their invinvible to everything by making them have :infinity: health for a ceirtain time

That’s easy . . .

Trigger loop, can activate 300(?) times per second.
Make a simple timer that deactivates the trigger after x seconds.

but the health change tho

you have the trigger loop channel activate a health granter.

and how will you make it infity health

All you have is have a zone that is only active for one person that grants 1000 heath every second that turns of after 5 min

true infinity HP isn’t possible, due to health caps.
That is the closest possible thing.

do you think that will work

right thats what im saying is were reashing a way to do it

blachole once said nothing is imposible

and also phoneix stop editng my post

i’ve got three points for you

1.) this seems possible, and super easy. not clay-institute
B.) you can set max health in game to 5000, don’t show health, and then increase all health to 5000 for the invincibility, then deal the damage to bring them back to normal health in a few seconds. it might be tricky to find it, but this is pretty easy.
D.) if you’re looking for an easy answer, just pseudo-helth it

this ain’t tricky stuff
simple, streamlined

not its not.

its not a clay institute level post.

I don’t know if you’ve read a clay institute post, this is not one of those.
