I think someone else here had that idea and I’m not taking anything from them. I just wanted to know how to find out how to make a 1 V All game. I also want to know if it’s possible to have multiple rounds, like in the games with teams, where the ‘seeker’ is randomized. Also wanted to know how to make a mechanism to where whenever you’re knocked out, you can’t jump back into the round. Thanks if anyone finds this.
Welcome to the forums JnKit!
Unfortunately, I don’t have answers to most of your questions, but I can help with the last one!
Put down a Lifecycle device. Under the “Event” menu, make it track “Player Knocked Out”. Then, you can wire it to a teleporter (Event occurs > teleport player here). Make sure you put a checkpoint on top of the teleporter so they don’t respawn back at the spawn pad…
Thank you so much! Would they be in somewhat of a lounge or corner of the map or would they be able to spectate somehow? I know gimkit has spectating options for players hosting games, but I don’t know if that’s much of an option for the people playing in creative mode.
I don’t think they can spectate… there are Camera Point devices that set your camera view to a specific place, but they can’t track players.
So do you think that I can put multiple across the map for the spectators to shuffle through? I don’t know how that would work unless they click a button to view the area.
You definitely can! I used zones for mine, where if they entered it then the point would activate , and when they left it’d deactivate (so it’s not stuck there forever lol). I’m not sure how buttons would work, because if they accidentally move they can’t re-press the button to deactivate it.
If you were going to do this, I’d say make your map have little themes so that you can label the zones easier. For example, you can enter this box to see the space area, and this one for the farm area, e.t.c. Of course, I’d make the zones visible so they know if they’re in it or not.
It would kind of be like the ctf game mode where there’s the one side of the map and the other. I was also planning on using it for my capture the flag revamp
It also gives me the idea of maybe an amongus inspired game in 2d instead. I don’t know if I could make the cams tho
That could work! Hold on, I’m trying to solve your “1 person only on one team” problem…
I tried searching through the game settings and it only shows how many teams I can create and how many on the teams overall. I kind of just started doing creative yesterday and the most I’ve gotten figured out about teams is spawn points and team cooperation for purchasing
So far this is what I have:
If you go into the options menu, “Map options”, and “Teams”, there is a way to make uneven teams. Select “Specific Team Amount”, then “Randomly” under “Team Placement”, it should randomly distribute them. There is a “Team Switcher” device, so I think that you could switch players once the game starts to where there’s only one player on a team. I’m not sure how to work that though.
In the spawn pad settings, there are settings where only team 1 can spawn there. So, you could have two of them (one on each side of the map) and set them to where team 1 will spawn here, and team 2 will spawn on the other side.
Ive gotten the spawnpoints already on my map, I just wonder if I could find a way to make it one person on the team every time. I mainly choose only even teams for my capture the flag games and stuff
The same exact person? (sorry I went AFK for a bit there)
Look through this guide, and see if this helps.
No, like the randomized thing they do in among us and those other games or something like that
Oh ok. I might be able to figure that out
Thank you! I don’t know why but this has to be 20 characters lol
Reminder that if you find a solution to your problem, mark the solution that helped you the most.
Alright! Thank you!
