Letter-Device format

You may see me put pictures on the forums that look like this:

This is a technical shorthand, which I am calling letter-device format. You draw the device system instead of going into Gimkit to test things out. You can then test it later on, but you have the basic idea across.

(You do not have to add color code to it)
The symbols:

  • Straight line: Wire
    image

  • Curvy line (it needs to look curvy): Channel
    image

  • Curvy line that transitions into a straight line or just a straight dotted line: Can be either a channel or a wire
    image

  • Square: Block Code, can be connected by wires or channels
    image

  • Question mark: A wide variety of devices could fit there

i don’t have any custom pictures, so instead of editing, i will just list out what i think some of the abbreviations should be.
r = relay
bu = button
t = trigger
lc = lifecycle
vm = vending machine
qu = questioner
pu = popup
nt = notification
ew = end of game widget
si = starting inventory
im = inventory item manager
s = sentry
rs = respawn
ko = knockout manager
b = barrier
wy= waypoint
tp = teleporter
cv = camera view
sp = spawn pad
ts = team switcher
sm = speed modifier
mm = movement meter
pr = property
rp = repeater
wr = wire repeater
hope you guys like it! if someone with those special images could update it (doesn’t even have to be with my abbreviations) i think it would be good

Can someone elaborate on what this means?

For blocks, how do you represent what device it’s a part of?

1: A curved line that turns into a dotted line/ straight line halfway through. This means you can either use channels or wires to connect the devices.
