Me, @CartoonyCheese, and @kirbyking are making a horror game called Eye See You and I want to make it where the monsters is a player

Yes. Make everyone start on team one.

On game start, a relay chooses one player at random to continue whatever code or device(s) you have.

I was thinking of making the monster spawn in its own area at the beginning

everyone spawn in the same place > relay > team switcher > spawn pad/teleporter
