I need help finding ideas for a game. Put down ideas and I will choose which idea is best. Im looking for something kid-friendly by the way. Let me know if you have an idea.
Welcome to the community ShadowReaperX! =D
Is there any other details that we could have to get a better understanding on what you want ideas for? (e.g. platforming, puzzle, etc.)
Edit: yep np
An adventure game, something original, also thank you for the tip
no why do you ask this?
wait oh he is my friend I didn’t read it
over 100 ideas!!
This might be helpful lol
Welcome to the forums @ShadowReaperX

also this might be helpfull too!
- story game (there is a story and the player(s) have to follow it to completion)
- Battle royale (players battle each other in an arena)
- a puzzle game
- a low effort parkour chart (no offence but I just find difficulty charts boring and repetitive)
- a chill game like farming or mining
- horror games
there 6 ideas that I have seen before but don’t let this denture you there are plenty of twists you can add to make this game yours. (Please give me more context and tell me how this helped or if it didn’t then tell me how it didn’t help)
OOO, wait, are you looking for lore to add to your adventure game?
or are you asking for ideas for your adventure game(like what to put in it and decor/designs)?
Thank you for these ideas. I think battle royale would be the easiest so I am making a laser tag game. Thanks for the help.
How about…a battle royale with some secret lore in it? Also, don’t just stick to the simple ideas, go with the ones that require more time and effort. Time and effort are the most important things you need in the development of a good game, which there is an apparent lack of in discovery right now. It’d be nice to find an actually good game to play on discovery.
Also, a small suggestion: don’t make ending games or games with no replayability! Ending games that end when mistakes are made may get plays at first, but gradually they get a bad reputation for being not fun and frustrating!
Maybe you could get some inspiration from these ideas!
Plus, is your game top-down or platformer?

Gimkit game idea: “The Great Space Race”
Concept: Players are aspiring astronauts competing in a race across the galaxy. The game uses a trivia-based progression system combined with strategic decisions about resource management and space travel hazards.
Gameplay:
Setup:The map features a galaxy with various planets, space stations, and nebulae. Each player starts at a designated “home planet”.
Movement: To move their spaceship (represented by their Gim), players must answer trivia questions correctly related to science, space exploration, or a chosen subject.
Resources: Players collect “Fuel Crystals” by answering questions correctly or finding them on certain planets. These are essential for longer jumps and traversing hazardous zones. They can also collect “Shield Generators” to protect against hazards or opponent attacks.
Hazards: Some areas of the galaxy contain obstacles like asteroid fields (slowing movement), gravity anomalies (randomly changing direction), or even hostile alien encounters (requiring a correct answer to avoid consequences or losing a Shield Generator).
Space Stations: Players can visit space stations to exchange Fuel Crystals for upgrades, new equipment, or information about shortcuts or hidden areas.
Goal:The first player to reach the “finish line” planet and answer a final, challenging question correctly wins the race and becomes the “Grand Galactic Champion”.
