Idea for my game: (!) Pro Gamers Only

Hey! I just made a new game on Gimkit Creative, called: (!) Pro Gamers Only. The point of the game is to defeat all 3 bosses, 2 are the weakest, With the HP of 1000. The last one, HP level 5000, is the strongest. If you defeat the last one, the game ends and you win. Any ideas to add?

Maybe make the last boss have 3000 HP? Also, add a few minor bosses with 300-500 health. Maybe like a boss before the boss that drops medkits and shield cans?

OK Thanks! I will keep that in kind. I will also send a screenshot of the game!

Is this game basically a boss rush?

  • Minigames
  • Side quests
  • Customizable themes, so 3 separate maps with 3 different themes, maybe techno, space, and grasslands. Player chooses where they want to go.
  • Custom bosses according to theme.
  • Buff shops
  • Achievements
  • XP to correspond to a title at the end of a game
example: 100 XP = “Hardcore Fighter”

Here it is:

Geuss you could call it that, but this game is new. Just started making it, just published it aswell!

maybe have the boss spawn a few minions at times, and have a mechanic you’d have to to at a specific time- so you’ll be able to damage him.

  • oh! and areas that you step on can be harmful to you! (they can spawn spontaneously)

Ok so first things first, the design could use a little work, please don’t give the players legendary gadgets at the start, make them work for it, or have an upgrade station. It would probably be nicer to get rid of the item spawners and have the blasters go into the players’ inventory.

as the local bossrush expert (im lying), i think you should give them proper attacks, such as a laser that goes through different parts of the arena, and, DO NOT use extremely high dmg / hp values pleaseeee that is the bane of my existence

tldr

  • proper attacks and abilities for each boss, since you only have 3, memory isnt a problem
  • don’t use big numbers

An idea is to make the numbers smaller in a practical way e.g. if you deal 100 damage and the boss hp is 3000 → 1 dmg / 30 hp

alright you guys few more ideas and I will read them and see what I will add

true, hit hp is always an option

Hit Hp, for those who don't know what that is

hit hp means a boss will ALWAYS take a certain amount of turns or hits to be defeated, such as sans in Undertale always taking 23 hits (that he dodges, but you hit the 23rd) to defeat

Update just added: Changed Big Boss HP to 3000 instead of 5000. Maybe I will add some small minions to!

@Kat_aronii , What would some devices be to make that happen? Can’t really find any! (AKA More sntry’s spawn once one is defeated)

OK Now that is a little… to far

Um–that’s like setting the amount of health to the number of hits for it to be defeated?
Or-- you could do the same thing, more realistically.

For example, let’s say the Quantum Portal did 25 damage. If it took 25 hits for it to be defeated, then set the monster’s health to 625 health.

that’s what hit hp would be, if they couldn’t change gadgets

If you want it to be hardcore, I would implement a respawning system.
What I’m saying is, make a timer for about 3 minutes when a player reaches the next level, and if the player does not eliminate the boss in that amount of time, it resets and the health rejuvenates.
