I wanna create Stardew valley but without running out of memory

No. It’s automatically standard, since a selection would mean I need to use a ton of terrain, something I can barely afford to use. I’m cutting ginger Island, since that would take up a lot of memory since It’s about the same size as the valley, and most players have never gotten that far. I’m also gonna make It so the Joja bundles aren’t aloud (memory efficiency) and the mines are only going to have single level biomes. Since there’s no island, the QI mines won’t be there, and here’s a question: should I cut Calico desert and the skull caverns?

Also, should I do house upgrades?

I think house upgrades would be a good idea.

Are you going to try to make shield energy of some sort, or use a property?

No shield. I will have energy and health.

game-recreation tag is for Community Made Guides.

I would say to save memory, one of the best ways is to never use walls. Just use floor on a different layer with a barrier.

Honestly the skull cavern. It just like the mines, but a TON of moving monsters which would be extremely hard to make. Plus u also would HAFTA make floor counter so if the player reaches lvl 25/100, they meet Mr.Qi

  1. If it takes not too much memory, yes
  2. WHy does that look so… good?

Honestly, you shouldn’t add walking NPCs. It may make the game a little worse, but having to animate them across the map would take too much memory

K. I’ll make the caverns, but It’ll be shortend into only 2 or three levels. I’ll make a mini version of the island, with only 3 levels in the volcano. For monsters I’m gonna have no creativity whatsoever, and just use sentries with barrier art. How would the community bundles work?

Eating…Energy restoration… health restoration… making the villagers save u if u pass out in the mines… cutscenes… marrige… quests… tool upgrades…time tracking… tint (for time of day)
Are you gonna make all of those?

Idk. It would WORK if u just put a bunch a vending machines, but idk how to make it look like the one in the real game

They’ll just respawn in their beds. would seasons be possible?

Okee, and
ye, when a player go to bed, increase a counter, and when counter reach 28, reset it and change season.

I mean how would the environment change?

idk, mb change the tree colors, add season-based decor and barriers over the terrain to kinda make it look like the ground has changed color. (Or, you could teleport the player to a completely different part of the map and each part os for a different season.)
