I’m trying to make a game that’s a lot like fishtopia but I cant figure out how to recreate the fishing system. Can someone help me? WITH PICTURES?
@s0urgumm13z
that ones only for a good looking fishing animation
which could be useful if wanted
anyways if you want to do this i think you need to use blocks
you just basically make rng using them
you can make a variable to store a random number
then check what that number is and give a fish based on the number
i used a trigger to store the blocks
heres what it would look like
you would replace all of the “Add Activity Feed Item For Everyone” blocks with “Broadcast Message On Channel” blocks [1]
and connect the channels to item granters
if youre about to hit the 50 block limit (say you have maybe 50 different fishes in one lake) then you can add a “else” to the “if” block (not “else if”) and make it broadcast a channel that triggers another trigger that does basically expands the loot pool by doing the same thing as the previous trigger
basically they just broadcast a channel ↩︎
Blizzy (gone :<) made a guide on this a while back and remade it with pictures, search before you post.
Hey there, welcome to the forums! I really hope you enjoy your time here as much as I have.
I see you’re looking for how to re-make Fishtopia! We have a couple of guides on this in the fishtopia tag if you would like to skim through there.
Also, a couple of user’s have given you guides on how to do this, so I would recommend looking through those.
Anyways, if you’ve found your solution, please mark it by using the checkmark next to the most helpful post!
If you need more help, feel free to @ping me for any coding or explanation problems.

I think OP is inactive
oh thanks nagi
you dont get flagged or suspended for not reading those
just follow the rules
@Warrior_Of_Death16 being suspended for being off-topic is because you were off-topic, not because you didn’t read those
Thanks for ur help everyone!! I’ll try these out and i’ll let u know if I have any more questions ![]()
