Hunter heheheh ![]()
“Let the shining light of Divinity bless you.”
Name-The Divine Light
“The Light’s genetics shall never fail.”
Passive-Angelic Divinity-All negative effect times are halved (Ex: if someone makes you stunned for 4 sec the stun time will go from 4 sec–>2 sec)
“Angels old and new hear my call.”
Ability 1-Angel’s Call-Summon a sentry with the regular sketch skin and a common wooden wand these sentries will be on the same team as the hunter and despawn(Get insta-knocked) after 15 sec (35 sec cd)
“I cast JUDGEMENT!”
Ability 2-Judgement-Give yourself a legendary wooden wand for 5 sec (40 sec cd)
Concept Art oooolalalaaa
Hunter idea:
Name: Y0URS3LFF!!!1
Passive: [CORRUPT3D?] Highlighted to every survivor alive every 30 seconds for about 2 seconds. Why? Haha. Ask yourself.
Ability 1: [B0LT] Gains 1.75 speed, ends after hitting a survivor/wall or stopping (not moving). Takes a moment to charge up (about 2 seconds, about 0.5x speed during this charge). If this hits a survivor, deal 30 damage or smth. If you hit a wall or stop moving, get slowed down (0.75x speed for 5 seconds)
Ablity 2: [BADWARE] Similar to Noli’s Observant and 007n7’s teleport, except you can’t decide which survivor spawn to teleport to. Instantly teleport to a survivor spawn. (BOTH ABLITIES START THE ROUND ON COOLDOWN FOR BALANCING PURPOSES)
[[and the you have the slash just 25 damage kk]]
Notes: is just the player’s gim, thought it would be funny
Fire
. One question, what should the cooldowns for the abilities be? And do you have any ideas on how to create a system to detect Y0URS3LFF!!!1 hitting walls or stopping?
coordinates device, check every 2 ticks if previous coordinates are different to current coordinates
if that’s True assume the client has stopped moving/hit a wall
else call a function that stops the move (AND PUNISHES YOURSELF, GIVE HIM SLOWNESS >:D)
reusing what I said in a different forsaken game
Survivor
Name: R0BBY (sentry robot)
HP 150 (you will see) (starts with 25 shield)
Passive: Steel frame, R0BBY can’t be healed by his other teammates "introducing our new line of helper robots…”
Passive 2: Not in my code, damaging a teammate deals 10 damage to you as well “ERROR.BAD.ROBOT.SELF.D4MAGE.NOT.PROTOCOL.”
Ability 1: Battery, R0BBY uses a (common) evil eye to attack the k1ller, he uses his evil eye for up to 5 seconds (or 1 full set of ammo whatever comes first) hitting the k!iller with the blast does 10 damage per shot along with giving him 10 shield per successful hit, but he can also damage his teammates as well. (CD 35 seconds) (lore text like forsaken) “You gave your life for me, now I use us for the better’
Ability 2: For a better cause, robby takes his battery out and makes it act like a healing station for nearby survivors, robby loses 1 max hp per second (can go lower than 50) while healing every one around him 2hp per second) if robby is damaged during the move he loses 10 hp and the ability goes on cooldown for 50 seconds (normal CD 10 seconds)(ability takes 2 seconds to activate and seconds seconds to stop) “PROTOCOL.HELP.HUMANS.PROTECT.AT.ALL.COSTS”
Lore: R0BBY is part of a line of helper robots that lived on planet circle to help all the gims that lived there. But R0BBY was no ordinary robot. He was the first robot to gain a conscious which HQ couldn’t afford to keep in case of him becoming a k1illing machine so he became a rogue robot who still tried to help anyone he could, he was in the same line of other robots who all gained consciousness where he met ROS3Y his best friend. (i could yap more but im going to get to the point) R0BBY was supposed to be decommissioned but instead of him, ROS3Y took his place. R0BBY still helps others while carrying the eye of ROS3Y along with him. A piece of his past that will never be forgotten.
Little side note but holy yap fest sorry for making you read this ![]()
Wayward Lover
Passive:
A voice inside - At the start of the round, a survivor is marked and every ten seconds, that survivor’s position is revealed for a second (if the marked survivor is knocked out, the ability then marks another survivor)
Abilities:
Never ending dream - All generators are unable to be repaired for ten seconds
A stifling affair - WL gains a speed boost as the entire map becomes dark (mostly) and all of the survivors receive a minor speed impairment (The marked survivor gets a bit bigger speed impairment)
Notes
Based off of two songs: 炜ward Romance by Flavor Foley and Love, Yours Truly! by naphillow
Might make lore btw
I
it. One question, how would I make the marking thing for WL’s passive?
How about Adam as some sort of 1x1 or John doe here is the moveset if possible M1:Hammer hit move 1: Prickle Pounce basically if its platformer than jump boost + Prickler if not then maybe you can change it? move 2:Quantum Snipe when using this the hunter stays still refilling the quantum portal then when fully refilled it fires move 3:Atomsphere it gives him a med pack a shield can and a speed boost but if the hunter doesn’t have health then a speed boost and a zoom out for 10 seconds
also the here is a name suggestion js in case “Atmoadam”
Okay guys, I feel as if 7 survivors against 5 hunters is a good number un my game. The rest of the survivor/hunter ideas will be added in future updates. I’ll wait for King_Thunder_Alt1 to post his ideas then I’ll close the thread. Feel free to add any more ideas
!
do you need help with any of the systems?? Ive made 6 different games like this ![]()
Apologies again for the delays, will hopefully have the survivors to you this weekend, in the meantime, here is a lore on a Hunter:
Shadeborn, Prosecutor of the Damned
The entity known as the Shadeborn, whose name itself is often unknown to those unlucky enough to meet it, is an ancient creature that was long dwelt within the Underworld.Tasked with administrating the eternal suffering of those Gims who led less than moral lives, they have been warped by the suffering they have witnessed within the minds of their charges, and have lost hope in Gimkind as a whole. As a result, they have begun judging souls more harshly, and inflicting ever more sadistic tortures upon those who enter their hellish domain. In recent years, they have amused themselves by forcing a Gim of each sin to survive in a deadly arena, in which the Shadeborn assails them with demonic beasts whilst watching them gradually fall prey to the ravenous jaws pursuing them. On the rare occasion that one survives the onslaught, he personally hunts them, though only after a survivor has bested all the lesser demons at his disposal. In seeking to punish those who fell to their clutches, they have become a creature focused solely on inflicting the most severe pain on those beneath them. As a final injustice, they delude those trapped within their game with the reward of freedom for survivors, their souls reborn onto the mortal plane, whilst in reality they are just forced to hunt the next batch of naive souls.
The intention of this creature is to be a powerful Hunter type unlocked through winning matches through the other midrank Hunters, recognized through the use of a save code.
So basically for the Hunter system, for new players they have one or two base options that are kind of weak, and as they accumulate SURVIVOR wins against various low tier Hunters, they unlock the mid tier Hunters, and so on until you reach the Shadeborn. This adds rewards for those who play more, and introduces variety in lobbies, though it will likely be technically difficult to implement. For Survivor classes, the base class will stay the same, though with more abilities for each unlocked with amounts of victories in each class. If the Hunter Rank system proves too hard to implement, you could simply give each Hunter class a chance to be selected, with better Hunter’s having lower chances. Focus of future LORE will be on the base Survivor classes, with minor Hunter’s being more technically focused than story focused.
Edit: I recognize this is short, but I spent like 30 mins making it just so I could give something while I refine the others.
please stay on topic! Unless you are giving an idea please dont post…
If you have no ideas, then don’t post.
Anyhow, been working overdrive this afternoon, here’s two of the seven survivors:
Puffer, Vessel of Sloth
Puffer never was one to move quickly during his mortal life, ironic considering had he just been a bit faster, he would have crossed the street. Since birth, he had always taken twice the time to accomplish what even the stupidest of children learned within months. He never spoke a syllable until he was 2, nor even attempted walking until he was 4. Not to say he was unintelligent, no, rather that he saw no point in it all. Why should he rush through his childhood, only to inevitably be bound to a thankless job in which progress would occur at just this pace until his body became a shriveled husk and he lost his usefulness? No, far easier to lazily trudge through childhood, savoring it before making sure his age never reached the point that he would need to worry about a job, a word he considered repulsive. As he ambled through the halls of school with age, he became known by his peers as lazy and pessimistic, that one guy in group projects that’s just dead weight, for surely we all know an example of such a person. Combine with his slow, ambling gait as he trudged through the halls, racking up hundreds of tardy slips in his short life. Stranger still, he always wore a jacket that only further inhibited his movement, even in the middle of summer. A heavy, cumbersome thing it was, causing him to fall on the rare occasion he attempted to move with any level of speed. Ultimately, it was this choice that led to his demise on that bright April morning. With the previous description in mind, it should be a given that dear Puffer was the favored target of every bully in the county. Even now that he had reached 9th grade, elementary schoolers still picked on him, though they were only an annoyance, flitting through his peripheral vision as he moved through the day. No, the larger worry by far were the varsity jocks, who took great pleasure in hanging him off of any assortment of things by his coat’s hood, until some sympathetic passerby took pity and freed him, an event that took quite some time to transpire given how softly he spoke even when crying for help. It was these same jocks that pursued him on his walk home from school, shoving him around as he helplessly stumbled over the sidewalk. Upon reaching the corner where they would turn towards their own homes, they gave Puffer a final shove that sent him sprawling out into the street, just as a bus was passing through the intersection. Though the driver attempted to swerve, the distance was far too small for it to make a difference. As he slowly processed his oncoming demise, he felt sadness for the first time. Sure, this would have inevitably happened on his own terms, but he had hoped to enjoy his last few years as a child, maybe even trying that new restaurant serving penguins everyone was talking abou-
CRUNCH
Even in after his soul left, his body’s processes were slowed, his moldering corpse rotting long after it was entombed within the earth, the stench serving as a constant presence to any visiting the local graveyard. A particularly wicked fate was concocted for him in the Sloth Ring, for he was forced to run on a treadmill, with any faltering sending him into a pit of fire where he would burn in agony before being forced once more onto the treadmill. Amidst his exhaustion, he barely noticed he had been chosen as a Forsaken Sinner until just before being teleported to the arena. It was rather unsurprising to him, as his family had always viewed him as a liability, and beyond them nobody paid any attention to him more than you would a passerby in the street. It was really only a matter of time. Honestly, he would rather accept his demise rather than be returned to the surface, not doing so only out of fright of the severity of the agony he would experience during elimination. Once teleported, he found himself in a verdant jungle, with a beautiful assortment of plants he knew better than to trust. Wary of potential poisons and hostile wildlife, he climbed a tree in just the manner as the namesake of his sin would have, and never saw the altar, barely hearing Shadeborn’s opening monologue. Instead he chose to catch a brief bit of slumber, which ended up costing him the 30 second grace period, and eliciting a chuckle within his mind from Shadeborn:
“You snooze, you lose little Sloth. Next time I won’t be so gracious.”
Orehound, Vessel of Greed
Clint Forgeheart was a Dwarven miner from a long line of successful blacksmiths in his mortal life. Born within the Kingdom of Ironkeep, beneath the northeastern Dragonclaw Mountains, he became fascinated with gold at a young age. As he watched his father take it in payment, or use it to craft gadgets and sculptures, he became obsessed with the substance, his one aim in life being its collection. As he grew up and studied the art of forging, he began to draft plans for a great drill that would seek and excavate gold from beneath the Kingdom. His skills grew in tandem with his desire for gold, and his reputation soon grew, known as a mastercraftsman yes, but also a cutthroat merchant with little morals where payment was concerned. As his wealth accumulated, he began to fashion ornate monuments to his power, intricately detailed chambers of solid gold. Meanwhile, his price gouging both ran his competitors out of business and emptied the pockets of those who purchased such basic tools as a pickaxe. Sensing an opportunity, he allowed debtors to work off what they owed in private mines with little safety regulation. While the injury rates raised eyebrows from the royalty, the contracts the workers signed prevented any legal action.
Eventually, Clint completed his design for the drills, and began installing them throughout the Kingdom. Though wildly successful in producing gold, they destabilized the mountain, creating a larger risk of it collapsing on the kingdom the longer they were active. The King ordered Clint to stop, but he refused, wasting precious minutes that resulted in thousands being crushed by the giant fragment of rock splintering off the cave ceiling. Ironically, Clint joined their number, the vibrations of the cave in dropping a golden chandelier that hung above his throne, crushing his bones into a fine powder beneath the very riches that prompted his demise.
It will come as no surprise he ended up in the Underworld, confined to the Greed Ring and granted the moniker Orehound. His punishment was to tirelessly toil in a mine that regenerated for every minute spent away from it, with the gold his soul desired always just out of reach, and what veins he did strike turned out to be a fool’s gold. And if his story were to end here, his victims would find it a fitting fate, being forced to toil as they had for nothing in return, driven ever forward by insatiable greed. But the Shadeborn had other plans, and drafted him into the latest round of their notorious oofing games, the contestants of which were known as the Forsaken Sinners, for not a single soul above mourned their passing, thus allowing Shadeborn to obliterate their souls at a whim with none ever caring.
Having been restrained in a decrepit dungeon alongside the others, he found himself teleported into a cavern shrouded in darkness but for faint lantern light along a path out into other zones of the arena. Knowing it unwise to linger in a place where the shadows could hold all sorts of threats, he ran along the path until he reached the arena’s center, finding himself once more in the presence at the base of a strange altar. As he stared perplexed and a bit unnerved by the red pulsing runes beneath it, he heard the Shadeborn’s voice crackle through the air:
“Welcome filth, to the last place most of you will ever see. Your only goal is to survive long enough to bring the corpses of your competitors to the altar, earning your freedom. There are no rules to this game, not that you would obey them in any event or you wouldn’t be here. So fight, ally, run, hide, and inevitably betray as you wretched souls did above, for it makes no difference how you win, only that you do. To lose after all, as I am sure you are all aware, would consign your soul to oblivion, your last moments a prolonged, agonizing end as you lay dying at the hands of one of my pets. But I am not without mercy, no, not at all. You may have thirty seconds to run before they are released. Good luck.”
Very sorry for the delays @CommanderGOAT , have some drafts, but work was paused due to midterm studying, now made momentarily irrelevant by my testing positive for Covid on Saturday. But hey, have time for writing now. Will be done by your deadline.
One question.
How r you gonna add the custom characters?
(I’m also working on a similar game that has a intro)
I assume the OP will use pre existing gims and then use props/barriers to add details, example:
My submission, (Code inactive)
It has been stated MULTIPLE times, no more Hunter ideas (aside from the ones OP authorized me to do).
Ok then. Survivors it is.
