How to recreate dead rails in gimkit?

Whats diffcult

  • The train (Unmoveable prop)
  • Gadget ammo limitation system
  • sentry are not moveable so recreating the zombie werewolf out-laws and wolfs are HARD
  • random spawning house and items
  • day night cycle
  • fuel system
that’s pretty much all I know that is hard to recreate pls tell me if there’s more

What do you want help creating? Also what are you trying to recreate? It seems as though this is just stuff you can’t create, which doesn’t tell us how we can help.

and if the game is in platformer you can make the sentarys falling so it looks like there moving

that wont wurk bc imma do it in top-down

You could try using animation to make the train move, and you might be able to use an emoji for the train. Barrier art might get a little complicated. Here’s a link to animation. The Underscorian Way of Making an Animation [👟]
For the fuel system, maybe use a movement meter? It would be really hard, and maybe impossible, for there to be a fuel system for the train only. Maybe try making it educational and have players answer questions for fuel (energy)? You might be able to use triggers to make the sentries move closer, but that would be very memory extensive. There MIGHT BE moving sentries for the next Season Ticket, which is on Wednesday this week. As for the other stuff, I don’t really know.

Hmm, I played dead rails before. So like the other people stated, a trigger system that moves the train is feasible. Have the fuel system as an energy system and every time a different train activates, subtract an amount of energy from that. Dark barriers would appear during night time. Having gradients in between would help simulate that even more. A random generation would be difficult, but not impossible. Have premade houses. Connect the objects or furniture inside the house to a trigger that would activate a random generator. Have multiple objects as a number value and have the block code choose a random integer between #-# depending on the number of objects you would like to have. A very easy method to use the objects or furniture as fuel would be giving the player some seed or item in Gimkit and have that set as the required resource to fuel up the train.

Gadget ammo limitation is fairly easy. In the map options there is an option to turn infinite refills off.

No but like some gadgets have 16 ammo but I need them to be like 6 or smth

Then have an inventory manager that checks for the amount of ammo you have. Wait, does that work? Let me check.

It indeed works:

weit wat that existed?

Grammar :o. Yes, that device exists perhaps unbeknownst to you until now.
