I haven’t made a guide in a while… WhAt’s uP, I finally learned some block code and decided that I wanted to refresh all of my guides to make them better (mostly because of the image purg), but as I said I learned some block code and am going to apply it to this guide.
(someone begged their parents to get them the season ticket )
So come on rizzlers, let’s make a skibidi elevator that is overcomplicated for no reason, (actually it’s overcomplicated due to it being more efficient if it was).
~600 memory per floor
Wait let me explain it first, so the floor you click on changes the property value, so let’s say I clicked on floor 2, now the property value will be 2, which will the trigger another trigger that checks for property value and if the property value was 2, it will turn of the mechanics that send you to floor 3 and turn off the mechanics that stop you at floor 1.
Equipment
Supplies per floor
1x teleporter, 2x triggers
+
Overall supplies
1 trigger, overlay as an ex. ( I’m using dialogue action because someone begged their parents to get them the season ticket ), and 1 property
Step 1
Get your property and call it “Elevator floor”
And make the property type number
And set the default value as “0”
And if property value was changed transmit on “Property value was changed”
here is an image of the settin
Step 2
Now let’s code the property value checker(just a trigger with some block code) which I had some help on
Very off-topic, no relation whatsoever (123GGHH)
So let’s call this trigger the decider
Step 3
Now let’s code 3 triggers for 3 floors, they will change the property value.
Trigger 1
Trigger 2
Trigger 3
Step 4
Now let’s make the controlling triggers, (don’t worry no block code on this one they just control the teleporters), I’ll explain the wires in Step 5
Set your triggers and teleporters like this
Now this is the trickiest part for me you have to figure out which floors to cancel if “floor x” was clicked, so I used multiple channels in one slot that I never knew existed but because of @Monoreuk 's guide, I learned.
Floor 1 trigger
Floor 2 trigger
Floor 3 trigger
Step 5
Step 5 might be the easiest, so you see wires 1 and 2, here is an image
You just repeat it for all of your triggers and teleporters, here are some images of the wire settings
Wire 1 settings
Trigger to teleporter
Wire 2 settings
Trigger floor a to trigger from floor b
Step 6
This one is really easy and is the last one, so now we want something to trigger the property change, which I had like “Talk 3” so now take your button or button or whatever (I’ll be using a dialogue action, someone begged their parents to get them the season ticket )
Button 1
Button 2
Button 3
