How to make an edible energy bar! (Difficulty: 3/10 or 🟩)

I got some inspiration from @arc5030 and this guide so thanks for that!
Today, I’m making an energy bar you can eat and get speed!

Resources

  1. Open the options for the inventory item manager and change the item to an energy bar

  2. Open blocks for the item manager and create a new block

  3. Copy this code

Pretty much what this is doing is when you have one or more energy bar, it will show the button, if not it will hide the button

  1. Open the game overlay to options and change these options

  2. Next, get the speed modifiers

  3. For the first speed modifier do these settings:

  4. For the second speed modifier do these settings:

  5. Snag the triggers and change these settings:

  6. Last, get the item granter and change these settings:

And BAM! There ya go! Now just slap down a item spawner and try it!

Here is the finished product

You can also drop the energy bar and the button will go away!

Thanks to everyone who read this far! A  would be appreciated!

Happy Gimkitting!

Nice guide! This is actually pretty good! Just so you know, on your poll, people can choose up to 12 options.

:hushed: Oh No! Thanks for catching that!

Yeah.

Honestly though, I think it’s a 3/10.
Block coding here is also not that hard so it wouldn’t be orange (4/10)

@Jobozo1875, can you delete that poll and create a new one? The votes with all 12 stay, even though you changed the settings.

I tried it didn’t work. I’ll try again though

You might have to wait a bit for it to save and you should delete the previous poll to also delete the votes.
If it doesn’t work, you can tell me and I’ll make a poll in this post

Difficulty?
  • 0/10 :white_large_square:
  • 1/10 :green_square:
  • 2/10 :green_square:
  • 3/10 :green_square:
  • 4/10 :orange_square:
  • 5/10 :orange_square:
  • 6/10 :yellow_square:
  • 7/10 :yellow_square:
  • 8/10 :red_square:
  • 9/10 :red_square:
  • 10/10 :purple_square:
  • 11/10 :black_large_square:

Sounds good- I’ll wait a bit

Great job! I’m not fully acquainted with blocks yet so I don’t like using them much in my designs. Very neat!

Thanks! and definitely - blocks aren’t the most easy concept to learn. I don’t know what like 1/4 of the blocks do! Great guide on this too!

I am setting the difficulty as 3/10 or :green_square:. Thanks for the help will the poll!

How did you make the video at the end

I think they used a video to gif converter.

Yeah what @wingwave said. I first recorded a video then used a video to gif converter then uploaded it here.

… How did you record the video?

I have a chromebook and used Ctl + Shift + The little windows icon You might have someting different so I would look up how to take a screen recording

Lets get back on topic
