How to make a Winter Cabin

How to build a Cabin

Have you ever wanted to make a cool winter game, but you didn’t know how to make a cabin?
well, I think this guide might be the guide for you!
(This is just my way of making one, you could make one differently.)

Step 1

Use cracked oak wood as flooring to give it that forest vibe.
put the size onto 4 and place it in a square shape.

Step 2

Use Signs to create the front and back of the house. Then tint the signs to the color close to the color of the floor shown in the picture below. (if you don’t wanna walk through the signs add device barriers behind and In front of them.)

Step 3

add barriers as side walls and tint them just like with the signs.

Step 4

Erase part of the floor at the back of the house to make room for the fire.

then use dark scraps for where we will be putting the fire.

Step 5

Now we can do the fire. For the fire use the firewood and log props.

to make the actual fire use the text device and type the fire emoji. i would set the font size to about 80. and to make it more realistic add multiple and lower the transparency to around 80 as well.

Step 6

now that you have almost everything we can work on the decorating to make it more lively. a few things that I added was a few trees, some logs, a lamp post and a path to your cabin. of course you can add anything that you like.

Step 7

This is the last step. we will be finishing the inside of the house.
for a seat I would add ground hay because gims can walk on it.

next add fencing around the fire because you don’t wanna burn your toes.

then add furniture like tables. and after that your done!

Step 8 (optional)

To make the house more “homey” you can add a table, and to put things onto the table, get any food items you like and click the button called layers in the top left corner.

then press “move to above layer” so you can put the food onto it.

Plants in you cabin could also make it better, simply press the props button and get the plants that you like. you could also make more of the hay chairs, OR you could set a stool to, “below layer” so that you can sit on it.

if someone already made something like this or I copied someone I did not mean to I’m just trying to help people make a cabin, and I hope this helps!

couldnt the log cabin be in any size and shape?

also, forsigns you used as walls, horizontal barriers exist (I think) and you should remove the the shadows on the walls

I just noticed this is one of your first guides, and it’s honestly really good!

Thank you

for using drop downs

I think all you need is an intro. What could you use this build for, or how can you make the build your own?

Overall, great first guide bro!

Fireplace looks good, the walls could use improvement. Maybe use terrains instead. Also add more detail in the cabin and make the cabin larger and cozier. Overall pretty great

That’s cool!
For the fireplace you could add “bubbles” of barriers in different opacities and shades so it seems more like smoke or sparks are flying off of the fire. You could also add a rug or some houseplants.

Thank you all for the constructive criticism, I will probably edit it to all the things that you guys said. I sorta rushed this because I was tired so I didnt really add all the stuff to make it better, but thank you all for the suggestions

NOT BUMP

Try waiting at least 1 week before a bump =D
Why? If everyone says bump everyday, it’s just creating more clutter…
