How to Make a Fish Tank (With MOVING Fish) 🐟

How to Make a Fish Tank

By: NagiSeishiro

Hey guys, this will be my first guide on these forums, so I hope you like it.

Before I start, I know a few of you guys might be like “wait a second, hasn’t this all ready been made?” , and yes, it has, but for some reason, it doesn’t have pictures, and neither does it have moving fish. (But don’t worry, I’ll obviously credit them)

Materials:

List
  • 2 Barriers
  • 3 Item Spawners
  • 1 Wooden Sign
  • 3 (Different) Alien Plant
  • 2 Dirt
  • 1 Sand Pile
  • 2 Rock

Steps:

Making the Tank

Place the Barrier behind the Wooden Sign like so:

Add the blue Barrier on top of the clear barrier to make the water:

Now the Tank is ready.

Adding Details

Place this Sand Pile:

Add the Rocks:

Put in the two Dirt piles, and tint them green:

For the last part of the details, add the Alien Plants:

Now you’re done with the details.

The Fish

Grab your Item Spawner:

Select it and go to the “Features” tab:

And edit the item that spawns. In this case, make it a fish:

And now you have your fish:

Do this process two more times:

And finally, place them in the tank (make sure to hide the spawn pad behind a prop):

Now you’ve finished the guide!

Conclusion:

I hope you guys enjoyed the guide, and feel free to add it into your awesome maps. If you’re wondering how I learned to sorta format a guide, I used this website:

And here are the credits I promised:

Anyways, see ya later. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::victory_hand:

Thank you so much, @NotYoyo , I can’t reply cause I’m still a Basic, but I really appreciate it! And thanks for telling me to move it to Art .

Thank you, @TheC00l3stG1m1nT0wn . I’m sorta familiar with the forums because of my friends who used to skim, and seeing other great guides helped.

This guide would be better in Art since it’s prop/barrier art and served as decoration purposes, so you might want to switch the topic category to that.

Quality-wise, this is a really good first guide, I really like the formatting and the details, keep up the great work!

No problem!

Nice guide! The fish are indeed moving!

Could use some more detail, but still pretty nice. I would suggest adding seaweed or coral instead of alien plants. Keep the sand though.

GIF of finished tank coming soon

i know it’s jst a minor detail but:

  1. flip a fish makin them go the opposite direction
  2. maybe add a shell at the bottom? unless the tank is already clustered

nice first guide!

Thanks for the feedback, @RektRainbow .

Do you guys think I should tag this guide as art-guide ?

Yes art guides get the art-guide tag
And good first guides like this aren’t common, so well done.

Yo could you do the gif? Only if you have time ofc.

Yeah
I kinda forgot about that. I don’t exactly have time to do it, but I may try to get that by tomorrow or Friday.
Edit: You might get the GIF very soon because I’m thinking of adding it to my newest game :D!

The reusable bump no longer works, we should make another one. -Jhan

Yeah, we’re gonna need a TL3 - Nagi
Any TL3’s who’d give us a free reusable bump? - Jhan.
