How to make 3D Blocks (Using Barrier Devices)

What’s up? Gimkit groups? Just a guide on how to make a 3D block. It’s an easy peas task. Just follow along very closely!!

3D Barrier Requirements

1. Add a barrier device and select Change size.
2. Hold down right-click to resize the barrier along the X, Y, and Z axes to form a block.
3. You MUST set it to a solid color it must be 1.00 transparency and has NO outline.

3D Making Process

1. To make it look truly 3D, you may need to stack or combine multiple barriers. For example, create a top piece like this…

[Mr. Example 2]

5. Make sure the Visible in-game setting is set to Yes. If you wan’t it to have collusion. No if no collusion.
6. Now for the next 3D step, first, duplicate one of the barrier devices and then rotate your barrier device to 90 degrees. Then, place multiple barrier devices to the right side of the 2D square like this.

[Mr. Example 3]

Here are the results once I remove the outlines.

[FINAL Results]

Mine is kinda ugly. You can fix yours by lining up all of the barrier devices perfectly.

You can also use “Costume Shapes Device” Too.

(And to those who don’t know how to draw 3D,)

First, create a square by using Lines.

[Mr. Example]

Then, copy EXACTLY what I do.

Mr. Example 2

Mr. Example 3

Final Results

You can fill in the open spaces in the 3D square and get a Barrier Device to place it on the 3D shape so it can have collusion. (If you’re making an Obby tho.

And yes, yes. I know someone made one of these topics already, but let’s be honest, you can’t see the pictures, for some reason. But this one has pictures to get a better view of what I’m talking about.

Honestly, this is my first time posting a Community Made Guides Topic. :\

we got better ways, sorry.
Plus spending a bunch of barriers like that is kinda wasteful, yk you can rotate them

Nice guide but there some mistakes.
Let me show you:

this is still in raw format! Make sure you look over your guide before posting!
Also reccomend using headings
you can make them by doing # Text here this.
You can add more hashtags to make the text get smaller.

@RiFF_NickZ do # Text here to make a heading

Thanks for the advice! I have no idea what you mean by “#text here.”

no.

I think uhhh 6.7/10
Because not very memoreh efficuhnt

what smortie means is put a “#”, a space, then your text.
The amount of hashtags corresponds to the size of your text.

Using one hashtag

Using two hashtags

Three hashtags

Four hashtags

Five hashtags
Six hashtags

The limit is 6 hashtags.

Whuh.

Well, that’s what phase 2 is for. Use shapes to make it faster.

Why is this after the poll? You should have this at the start of your guide, so people don’t waste tons of time reading through the guide before realizing it was a dupe

Also, people who are seeking to make 3D have probably already looked through these obvious ideas, so if you want to make a guide, maybe try using a method no one else has used before

2/10

You had barriers with no outline before, but why here?

I think our fellow forumers are being a bit harsh, but yeah, this guide needs a bit of work. This is kinda sorta a dupe, but besides that, it’s just a bit obvious. Next time, make sure you look over your spelling/grammar and formatting!
Overall, though, it’s a cool idea for 3D figures in GKC, and I’ve most certainly seen worse first guides. So, nice job!

We also covered this kind of thing in a different topic:

oh, edit btw:

just saying, this isn’t a very accurate drawing of a 3D figure, since it only shows two surfaces when it should be showing three at this angle.

Un exemple mieux

(assuming you can see the bottom side)

+ More 3D shapes:

Still a great attempt though!
