I tried adding this, the blockcode didn’t work well for me. Did it work for yall?

quick question can it detect if the player is double jumping onto a higher platform? (Bump)

in infinite loop trigger 1 what is the block code at the very bottom of the image

this is a good guide, but its just easier to make the ends of a laser beam invisible than place it on the ground. but still an awesome guide.

Depends on your scenario. Lets explore a couple of different situations to see if this guide would be better, so fall damage, or an invisible laser beam.

First we will start with fall damage.
  1. First, it saves memory. (Depends how many lasers you have)

  2. Second, it’s more realistic and seems like much more of a smooth transition.

  3. It’s a complex idea allowing more flexibility allowing it anywhere on the map.

Second, we’ll talk about your idea, invisible laser beams.

                 Invisible Laser beams
  1. It takes much less memory compared to this system, which would take a lot of memory, and also, continuing on to the second reason,

  2. It’s much easier to make, allowing anyone to use this device properly.

  3. It can be placed anywhere.

Some bad things about lasers though is that if you need multiple, it would take a ton of memory up. It also has a limit. Good sides about the fall damage is that it works anywhere and you won’t accidentally laser someone. It is more difficult and time consuming, (not to mention memory) but if it’s possible for you, I would recommend fall damage.

Another thing is that fall damage stops people from saving themselves when they fall off, so if you want that, it’s a little more difficult to do with laser as you need to use zones and animate the lasers to be efficient.

But just a couple ways fall damage is better, but also some ways that lasers are better. Really just depends on the person and how they feel.

Just wanted to inform the pro (I can’t add an s at the end of pro) and cons of both

Quick question:
When building this system it seems only 1 player is taking the damage. Everything matches up with the guide sooooo
