how do you make stairs in GKC
I don’t know, look for a guide
You can use perspective, and barriers. A bookcase is a good way. You just need to remove collision, layering, and barriers on the side so they can’t just skip halfway.

Today, I’ll show you how to make a 2d staircase!
First, build something like this!

Then, add teleporters!

Channel them to each other so you can go in them to go out on a higher step!

Now, add barriers, and you’re done!

This was my first guide and inspired by many others!
Edit: The barriers are so you can’t cheese the staircase, and you have to get individually teleported! Of course you could use speed modifiers but it’s personal preference, right? …
Introduction:
Today, I saw this guide here:
Anyways, either I have a skill issue or this guide is wrong, but I could literally not understand it. I tried replicating it and nothing happened. Anyways, I get the gist of the guide and I kind of want to make a simplified version.
Key Idea: I will try to make “stairs” that give the feeling of actual stairs.
There will be no steps to this guide. Sorry.
The Idea:
You can pretty obviously create stairs with layered boardwalk terrain.

This is a tutorial about how to make a building, house (or anything really) 2 or more levels!
STEPS:
1.
Add a few sign to represent stairs, these are mine.

2.
Set the layering of all the signs to Below, and the visibility scope to player. Hide the all the signs when they receive Under Stairs, and show the signs when they receive Over Stairs.

3.
Add 5 barriers around your stairs like so. Set visible in game to no for each one.

4.
Add 3 zones like so. …
Introduction
This will be an easy guide because it requires no block code, wires, or anything of the sort. Just 2 text boxes, 2 teleporters, and a little creativity!
The Stairs
How would you even create stairs!? Gimkit doesn’t have that… or does it? I discovered that bookshelves kinda look like stairs, so I began to get work.
First, created a room with a 5 x 4 corner for the stairs in the corner. You can create your stairs by rotating a bookshelf like this:
