How do you change the look of an item

I am making an escape room map thing and the players need to break a barrel. I’ve been using a pickaxe because it’s the closest gadget to a person’s fist.

(P.S. if this isn’t possible just tell me)

You can’t change the look of a gadget.
You can’t change the look of an item.
You can change the tint on a prop.

You cannot change the look of an item.

Technically you could get a persons x or y coordinates and put like a text(emoji) that opens from the broadcast but it would be really glitchy and like a 10 by 10 amount of terrain would be like 5% of memory right there.

But if you really want to you could probably do that with this guide, just instead of a Gim do it with your desired item

What I would do is have a button near the barrel that says punch and then when you press it the first emoji appears then disappears and the barrel is broken.

there is a way but it would deal with a lot of props
like invisible props that have no colision that can be damaged that would spawn a prop or mutiple of props and many wire repeaters

Oooooh animation would be really cool with that, maybe scattered wood and/or metal

btw does anybody have an idea for an escape room I’m running out of ideas

like where you have a invisible prop of some sort that can be damaged and then you have that
connect to another prop that reapapears that doesn’t show at the start of the game

you could make the escape room be like a maze or choose the right one or you like despawn maybe forever or something

what type of fist are we going for and how would that work

the fists would be cartoony or maybe boxing gloves

oh that make it much more simpler so are you using an emogy or barrier

To that just override the object you want to change instead of the gim (This will only be client side btw)
