for the floating islands maybe you can make it a separate place outside of the ground level world that you teleport to when you go up there. there are zones every 5ish blocks so that if you fall off a side of the island you end up around where you would be (or you get eliminated if you fall)
i havent played that game in a long long time
but for crafting you’d probably need some sort of way to get materials
brainstorming ideas for materials (you can skip this if you already have a system in place)
the bold parts are my thoughts on the idea
you could maybe use a sentry but with the tribes i’d assume there would be team switching and thus no good way to stop the sentries from sho0ting everybody (i could be mistaken on this part)
maybe when the player enters a certain zone then the sentry is switched to that players team? (idk if this is possible) this is a horrible idea though due to the concept of multiple people being in the same zone unless you switch all the players in the zone to the same team as the sentry maybe that could work though it means there would just be sections of the map where tribes dont work
you could perhaps use buttons that decrease a property linked to the tree as hp and give the drops of the breakable object when that property reaches a number less then or equal to 0
assuming you have different tiers of tools (wooden stone iron things like that) then you could use checkers that lead into eachother to see what the strongest tool the player has for the respective breakable is and lower the object hp property based off that this could work though i dobut it’d be very forgiving on the memory using counters might help
if theres an way to detect when dynamic blocks are broken then you could use that
or hide something inside that dynamic block as a sort of drop this could work (if its possible) although it means everything would be broken with pickaxes which might be weird
for the crafting you can just use the built-in crafting system
i dont think portable crafting stations are possible though
btw the tribes sound like an absolute hassle to make
