I know I need a pop-up or something to make the button but how I make it dash?(speed you up)
Wire a speed modifier to the button
Ohh that’s an overlay that way different
how do i do that lol?
Here let get the screenshots
wait it wont load them for me idk why tho
I cant see screenshots
Use a Game overlay and a Speed modifier device. Wire them both and it should say:
Button pressed ----> Set player configured speed. And in the speed modifier device, you can change the speed where it says “speed” in the picture to whatever speed you like, to make the player go faster.
Also you probably want to use a timer to return to normal speed
k and I can see screenshots now bc I went out of desktop mode and into mobile mode
yeah I would I never thought of that so thx
also welcome to the GIMKIT creative community!
Use an Overlay device that is set to “Buttons”
Use a trigger or wire repeater to simulate the delay, I will use wire repeater in this case:
- In overlay settings, make the overlay transmit on [X Channel] when pressed, and make the overlay hide when receive on [X Channel].
- In wire repeater settings, make the delay 5.0 seconds, you can adjust it if you want.
- You will need two speed modifiers, one is set to default speed (1.00) and the other one is set to boosted speed (3.00, for example).
Overlay (pressed) → Wire repeater (repeat the pulse)
Overlay (pressed) → Speed modifier set on 3.00 (switch to configured speed)
Wire repeater (repeated the pulse) → Speed modifier set on 1.00 (switch to configured speed)
Hope that helps, I can’t get on gimkit right now, which means I can’t provide screenshots to you, sorry.
Thanks for the greeting!
