How do i compare the amounts of items each person has?

We should rename RPT. Not to be rude, but there is nothing to do with teams in this method. I don’t have another idea, so we should keep calling it that until we have another idea.

However, it’s the reverse of NPT, which can be used to denote teams. RPT can be used to psuedo-team as well, you just have to be clever with it.

It isn’t the reverse though…

RPT is taking items away to see who has the least… NPT is using item amounts to store team numbers.

It isn’t the reverse of CPT though, that usually only has one item. You could check for the lack of that item, but that’s kind of unconventional.

Stop making all these terms it’s confusing :sob:.

So CPT is using multiple different items to determine teams?
NPT is using multiple of the same item to determine teams?
And RPT is using the lack of items to run actions?

Oh!!! I get it RPT is a technique in NPT. We should call it different, since it sounds like a different type of pseudo teaming

It’s a sub-technique, because NPT is all about using multiple of the same item, so if you have 0 of that item then that’s what RPT is. So

CPT is a main class.
NPT is a main class.
RPT is a subclass of NPT.

RPT is using lack of items to compare amounts of items without having a property per player.

Yeah, kind of like what I said there.

I still don’t get how you would use RPT in NPT.

NPT is using multiple of the same item to run actions right?

RPT is a special case where the amount of the item is 0.

It’s like how a Taylor Polynomial with a center of 0 is a special case called a MacLaurin Polynomial (I think).

Well… It is subtracting items until you have no more of the item to figure out who has the least.

I don’t know that much about Taylor series… I know that they can approximate sines and cosines, but not much else.

? pls be more specific. I want to compare multiple people

I believe blackhole mentioned something about this but for properties, can someone find that? @potato1 , what are you going to use this for?

What did I mention?

During the dark ages of the forum you told @EggNoodle how to compare everyone’s property amount.
