I’ve tried doing that its just way to much clutter, I mean I have to SCROLL* just to see every upgrade

You can make several recipes for your gadgets, here is a reference for you:
You got a common Evil Eye when game starts, make a recipe for Uncommon Evil Eye, which requires a common Evil Eye and 10 cash, make another recipe for Rare Evil Eye, which requires an uncommon Evil Eye and 20 cash, and so on.
