This will be a pretty simple guide, it will be teaching you how to make hot and cold effects for your game. Let’s start!
Grab a button.
Get a trigger. (or repeater)
Wire the button to a trigger (or repeater if you don’t want to build a time-tracking system)
Now grab a health granter.
Now grab a damager.
You’re done!
Alter the system to make hot effects.
Here’s how to alter the system so it makes your screen hotter.
In the health granter,
Now grab a new damager
Wire the button to the damager.
You’re done!

8/10
9/10
10/10
Let me know if this was done already since I think it’s a bit obvious.
How to stop the system

WHOAH!!! this is so cool!!! I’ve never thought of that… the problem would be the player dy!ng after their health is gone.

You can’t die from this because of the health granter tho.
Or maybe if you’re low health, that would be a problem.

I just figured out that you can make someone say false things.
like this:

I eat monkeys yum.
I’m pretty sure you have never said this before, correct?

This works pretty well as a special effect, but is there any way to remove the numbers?
I dont think there would be a way to, but aside from that, it looks pretty good, and relatively easy to make.
side note: is the overlay on the top left saying “health: 0” anything, or is it a game mechanic for the game you made the guide with?

I use one map to make all my guides, that overlay on the top was from a previous guide on pseudo-health I think.
It’s not related to this guide tho.
And yeah the numbers are annoying.

you can make it do the same amount of damage but just activate a big barrier with no collision…

Yeah but why would you be doing pvp in a map with hot and cold effects…

But then it looks like a background and just discolors everything, so it doesn’t look like an effect anymore.
Why wouldn’t you?
Nice guide @chunky

activate every few seconds then… and it can be player scoped…

Oh also if the health granted amount and the damage amount is the same it most likely won’t alter the damage in pvp.
Wait, this also puts color on the blue bar at the top…
maybe useful for a red vs blue game
I thought the cold with numbers was cool but the hot is not.
Hey that rhymed!

You could use this in survival games like if you needed to survive and create a fire and camp or something… actually I am doing that now bye!

ooh, maybe you could use it for a special effects if its a red vs blue game! if your on team blue, then you get the cold effect, and if you’re on team red, you get the hot effect.

Yes that would work because they can see either the blue or white numbers!

Yeah that would actually be unique since all the red vs blue games are just copies of each other

Don’t change quotes. I did something like that once where I made a small edit to the quote mentioning how it was difficult to tell if a quote was changed and I got this response:
Which is pretty good advice.
