the screen and logic and stuff
I think that game was made by apoll02
Oh yeah exactly
Blackhole927.
(bold is the BH)
- @JDAT_Is_Cool how am i grouped with mysz mysz is wayyyyyyyy better than me and he left
- i can only tell you a general idea on what to do, not really how to do it
- for the screen, you can either use a text display (like apoll02’s mock-platformer) or don’t use one. the text display will be hard and idk how to do it tbh. maybe use player coordinates and update the text display whenever the coordinates update. pretty sure this has been done before but for different uses, but idk, i suck at gkc (i don’t really do anything outside of devices and wires)
- p a i n
- i don’t use linux so idk
- you want to make a keyboard for the computer
- you still want to make gimkit there? (just making sure)
- oh
don’t ask me why I group you with pie guy ask mah smol brain-
yeah I just think ur an expert
If We wait and see if my computer theory guide gets un archived we can continue this discussion
I have a theory or two to share.
using gimkit code
Since making linux in Gimkit is very complex, you will have to use lots of blocks and lots of code to even port Linux to Gimkit. It may not even be possible due to memory limitations and # of RAM devices have. You will need tons of blockcode and stuff to make it work.
Or you can take the easy way:
Modifying Gimkit's site and making computer art
- Make some computer art and freeze the gim in place.
- Press play. Freeze the gim in a box so its trapped forever.
- Press Inspect after enabling right click.
- Go to Google Cloud Console.
- Use a
docker run -p 8080:80 dorowu/ubuntu-desktop-lxde-vnc
command to create a VNC in Google Cloud Console. - Port over to the VNC, then copy the link, and make an Iframe out of it.
- Put the iframe over the computer art.
oh thank you so much dude
does anybody have any more ideas
can you help me with the code one?
Yeah to be honest its kinda vague
Maybe try being a bit more specific, do you want to use kits? Creative? Stuff like that is very helpful to know.
no i dont want to use kit. i would use creative yes.
oh okay so what’s your plan to use linux
i dont really know i just want to be able to run an interface like the terminal
try asking someone else I could help you but my device is suddenly really glitchy lol sorry
I can help with ideas though
That’s a pretty good idea, but is there a way to offload chunks when not being used to save data?
