Is there a way for me have a button that like teleports you to the game playing area so like when the game starts it just leaves you in the lobby but you have to press a button to start it?

Button: Player presses button → Teleports to area
I think for the spawn pad, you would have to have the spawner set to respawn during all parts of the game, but you would use a checkpoint to override that.

You have to press the “Start Game” button to start the game. After that, you can do whatever you want, including another start game button lol.

If you want a style similar to how Gimkit teleports you to the game when the host presses the “Start Game” button, just use a couple of Spawn Pads. Simply place some Spawn Pads in your lobby and set the phase the Spawn Pad can be used in “Pre-Game” and place some Spawn Pads where your game starts and set their phase to “Game.” This is an easier system to set up and for players to understand compared to setting a second start game button in your lobby.
