Help for dimensions for a open world RPG

So I wanted to make a map in GKC that’s kind of like Breath of the Wild (Great game btw) where the player can explore, do quests, or fight monsters. I wanted to have different biomes in various places, but I was wondering what the dimensions for the border of the map should be (ex. 56x72) But I also want it to not drain my memory because of all the terrain.

We can’t really help you with that. It depends on how large your game is…
But to save memory, make sure your set Terrain is your most common terrain.

Look in dungeon and rpg.
You can also simulate terrain with barriers and/or props when you hit the limit.

(Don’t worry, only walls have limits and in that case you can use this guide)
