Gimkit Exploitable Glitches [ Exploitable in a good way :) ]

Basically this could be considered research in away but I’m basically asking all of you if there are any and I mean any glitches you’ve run into that could be used as interesting gimmicks. Like for example theres this one bug I noticed while playing dont look down where if you jump and land on the corner of one of the logs in the right spot you’ll get bounced farther than a normal jump.

Anyway Im just looking for any types of glitches like that to try an invent some new mechanics or gimiks. I also might make a research doc listing and documenting potential uses of these in the future.

so kind of like a slope jump? How that was a some cool ‘glitch’ that turned into a new mechanic?

well yeah but when I found that it was like a year ago and I only just learned of slopejumps today. I stopped playing for a year because I got bored.

I already made a whole bug post about this, but there’s a funny quirk with straight edges with a 45 degree slope. Lemme just Ctrl c it real quick…

(no I’m not talking about slope jumps or sjrs)

so basically, here’s how I think the GKCP jumping works (correct me if I’m wrong). I think that it works with a variable that is how many pixels that the gim jumps, and every game tick, this value is decreased. When you jump, it sets the value to an amount like 100, and when you land on something, this value is set to 0 until you jump. To actually change the y position, I think that gimkit has a script that constantly changes the y position by the variable.
Here’s the bug though. When I go on a 45 degrees slope, It has really odd properties. If
I land on it above, I stick to it and I can’t get out until I fall from it, and doing SJRs are really janky. Without SJRs, when you land on the 45 degree slope, you can’t move up. When you fall from it, you instantly go to the max velocity for falling. What I think is happening is that gimkit is setting your speed to 0, but isn’t detecting you’re on a platform for some reason.

Also, I do not want this bug to be patched. I think it’s cool and has some potential.

Fun fact with Thats_Gimpossible’s glitch:
I’m 95% certain that is is called client freezing, and it also works on Roblox, as far as I’m sure.

There is a glitch, if you switch tabs you freeze midair, but if you switch back you start falling again. But if you stay out of the tab too long you will fall extremely fast, so this glitch can’t be used very long.It’s best to try this out yourself to explain. You could use this to make switching platforms that turn on and off but with a pause in between, during which you would have to go over and change tabs.

one bug is in fragility mode, if you switch to another tab and get damaged you will still receive damage but you won’t get knocked back

Same concept as with mine, switching tabs delays movement, but once you switch back it might be very sudden.
An interesting thing you could do with @Coderdash’s concept is have a sentry blast you at a wall, switch tabs, and when the wall disappears switch back so you can cross a gap. If you catch my drift. With lasers and stuff so you don’t do it when you aren’t supposed to.

(its called tab glitching)
(you rapidly switch tabs, or hold the minimize button on windows)

I once found a bug where you could bypass an devices limit, using it I accidently placed 2 coordinate devices :skull: , I have yet to find a way to do it again…

You Can Make A Sentry A Default Gim By Overloading It.
There Is A Guide Somewhere…

I’m honestly confused on why default non-skin gims aren’t available for sentry’s, when skins that aren’t on sale, and haven’t for a while like the cyan Gimkit, are there.
