LENGTH WARNING AHEAD!!

Keep in mind, I made these a while back, so it may not be too good. lol

Also, some of these may be repeats, since I came up with a million different variations of each award. Please  if you like it. lol

Pt.1 of Ideas

  • Most Innovative Game Mechanic: This rewards games that introduce new and interesting ways to interact with Gimkitā€™s core mechanics.
  • Most Visually Appealing Game: This celebrates games with outstanding graphics, UI/UX design, or unique visual style.
  • Most Creative Use of Gimkit Mechanics: This award recognizes games that utilize Gimkitā€™s built-in assets in unexpected or clever ways.

  • Most Hilarious Game Intro: This award recognizes games with the funniest introductions that set the tone and capture playersā€™ attention.
  • Best Cooperative Game: This celebrates games designed specifically for teamwork and collaboration among players.
  • Most Competitive Game: This category is for games that create a thrilling competitive environment and push players to their limits.

Alternative Categories for Fun:

  • Most Likely to Cause Sleep Deprivation: This lighthearted award recognizes a game thatā€™s so engaging, players might forget bedtime. :stuck_out_tongue:

  • Eye Candy Award: This award goes to the game that looks so good, itā€™ll melt your eyeballs (in a good way, obviously).
  • Asset Alchemist Award: This award recognizes the game that takes Gimkitā€™s regular stuff and turns it into something magical.
Pt.2 of Ideas

Challenge Categories:

  • Speedrun Spectacle Award: This award recognizes the game with the most creative and challenging speedrun potential.

  • Edutainment Extraordinaire Award: This category recognizes games that make learning kinda fun (shocking, right?).

Btw, if this gets used, please give me a credit.

Edit: @Unstable, I have some ideas for you. Please tell me what you think!

  1. Maybe do something like the Gimkit feedback site, where people can upvote suggested category ideas. You could give a month or so and go from there.
  2. Create a contest to get a website designed for the awards. You can give criteria, and give 1 month to build a site. This can allow Gimkitters to give you some good choices (I bet that a lot of people on Gimkitā€™s platforms are good at that stuff), which you can choose from. :desktop_computer:

My idea:
Make your own custom gim!
Requirements:

  1. Need a name for the gim
  2. Make a little quote
  3. Which rarity is it?
  4. And what made up collection is it from?
  5. How many Gimbucks is it?
When you are done, take a screenshot of the gim and all of the info.
Then you can enter it and hopefully yours gets voted for best custom gim!!

I have three ideas

  • Best Co-op game
  • Best FFA game
  • Best solo game

Alr @Unstable again
I just realized I couldā€™ve edited my other postā€¦
Oh wellā€¦

What about the category ā€œbest educational gameā€?
Iā€™m pretty sure thereā€™s games out there that relate more to education than just having a questioner.

ex.
Battle reenactments, math games, graphing calculator, models of famous buildings, etc.

Very wise words. Iā€™m hoping some of my current games could win, but just in case Iā€™m gonna start cramming bc Iā€™m gonna try to make some new ones. lol

Unstable

Okay, thatā€™s fair. I canā€™t deny it. If you want any more of my great (good-ish) ideas, you know where to find me (ping me, lol).

Also, Iā€™m writing up a post now to mention this exciting news. Yay! ;)

Woohoo!
The gimkit awards are finally here! (I know Iā€™m a bit late)

Iā€™m sorry if someone has already asked this but are winners from last year allowed to win again this year?
If so, do they get a disadvantage?

Yes. There is no disadvantage.
I think soā€¦

Nope. Winners from last year are automatically ineligible
At least I think so

Yeah, I think BH said something about that last year. Because theyā€™d just win again over and over againā€¦

Oh. Forget what I just said earlier.

This topic is temporarily closed for at least 4 hours due to a large number of community flags.

I unfortunately cannot deal with them, so it will most likely be a good few days before this is sorted out.
