Warning: This guide has block code. Please do not proceed unless you understand and know how to use block code.
Notice: If you do not see the activity feed messages at first, do not worry. Sometimes the game lets you see them, sometimes it doesn’t. ¯|(ツ)/¯ okay, I’ve been informed, just go into full screen.
Disclaimer: Yes, I know there are similar guides. Yes, I know they are good. This is different in several ways, including: how to make the notification appear in the activity feed (the little text on the bottom left of the screen) and via notification device’s notifications and ideas for what messages you should put as the death messages.
Each of these methods offer variety in ways to make it, depending on what way you have your player knocked out.
Method One: Zone -> Damager
This method can be used in both types of games for when a player enters an area that they should not or cannot go. You’ll find it used in platformers where you fall to the ground and get varied death messages.
Devices used:
-
Zone
-
Damager
-
Notification
Steps:
Place down a Zone.
When player enters zone, transmit on → death_message
Place down a Damager
Damager player when receiving on → death_message
Easy Way
This way will not create a randomized message, just send a single message every time in the activity feed.
Knockout Activity Feed Message → {name} (death message)
Beginner Way
This method is just a simple notification with the player’s name in it.
Place down a Notification
Create a block. (When receiving on channel)
Medium Way
This method is notifications that are randomized.
Place down a Notification
Create a block (When receiving on channel)
Method Two: Lifecycle -> Notification
This method can be used when your players are knocked out from sentry/player weaponry.
Devices used:
-
Lifecycle
-
Notification
Set down a Lifecycle
Beginner Way
This method is just a simple notification with the player’s name in it.
Place down a Notification
Create a block. (When receiving on channel)
Medium Way
This method is notifications that are randomized.
Place down a Notification
Create a block (When receiving on channel)
Method Three: Zone -> Respawn -> Notification
This method can be used for areas that players cannot enter.
Devices used:
-
Zone
-
Respawn
-
Notification
Beginner Way
This method is just a simple notification with the player’s name in it.
Place down a Notification
Create a block. (When receiving on channel)
Medium Way
This method is notifications that are randomized.
Place down a Notification
Create a block (When receiving on channel)
Method Four: Laser -> Notification
This method can be used in both types of games, but you should see it more in platformers as it’s used as the main way to knockout a player.
Devices used:
-
Laser
-
Notification
Set down a Laser
Respawn player when receiving on → death_message
Beginner Way
This method is just a simple notification with the player’s name in it.
Place down a Notification
Create a block. (When receiving on channel)
Medium Way
This method is notifications that are randomized.
Place down a Notification
Create a block (When receiving on channel)
Obviously, there are many other ways to knockout a player, and as long as you connect it to a notification, you should be able to get the messages.

Not child appropriate, per se
Use these for more mature games that may have violence or gore.
