Flight sims. I’ve always been attached to them since I could work arrow keys. I’ve tried a test of my love, but it was scrapped for one reason. THE CONTROL STICK
As you can see this is me taking a F-16 for a joyride
I’m sure first person is possible, its just that the system of VERY complicated prop movement and a control system. So in theory, it is possible. The smooth turning is nearly impossible, because any animation in the game has to be done by hand. It would require constant movement of props. The last issue is that Gimkit is a primarily 2d game, so getting things like the 3d effects of the images shown above is pretty much impossible (and cramming this into one game is impossible in itself).
this guide proves it is somewhat possible, but the guide is clay-institute meaning it’s an idea thats either possible, or an idea we dont know is possible. so, i would not reccomend following it.
This isn’t possible. 1st person and 3D features are almost impossible to re-create in a game,- a 2D game. Not only that, gimkit doesn’t support actual coding, so you can forget coding it. As of now, it is simply impossible to create In gimkit.
My prototype, Firebirds: Combat Evolved, used a system of camera points and teleporters. When I tried to fly, it would look like I was just in some sort of gyroscope. Maybe there is a way to throttle up and down, without using overlays, cuz I already have 2, and that would require 3, 0 throttle, Half throttle, and Full throttle.
