Fine Art In Gimkit ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・

Ooh! Hello!
I’m really bored and I do NOT want to work on science olympiad…

Also, these are inspired, not exact replicas

I have 74 genera to do (fossils), 3 towers to build, an air trajectory build to test, and a bunch of quadrangles to study and here I am making random pieces of art in a game…
So productive!!!

So I made a guide.
Let’s start!

Cutouts by Matisse

This one is fairly easy.
Here’s the image I referenced:

So first, choose this alien plant and decide the colors you want, I just did random ones, haha…

Then, you want to place down a barrier colored white with these settings, any size:
image
(sorry it’s so cropped, I was doing split screen while watching yt lol)
Then, place your plants in various places, changing sizes and scattering them all over the place (in a calculated way):

And there you go!!

Composition in Red, Yellow, Blue by Piet Mondrian (just open it, you'll recognize it trust)

Here’s the reference I used:
What are the 8 most beautiful abstract paintings by Piet Mondrian? – Galerie Mont-Blanc
Place down a white barrier.
image
Choose your colors, I chose the classic - Red, blue, yellow, and black, but you can do whatever.

Make lots of different squares in different sizes:

Then, put lines that are VERY irregular around, following the squares, I did vertical first, and then horizontal:

And you’re done!

Untitled by Mark Rothko - One of my favorites!

Here’s the reference:

First, you guessed it…
A White Square!
Well, not really, more of an off-white tan rectangle.
Actually, both…
First, place down the white and tan barriers and place them on top of each other:
image
image
Here’s the hex code I used for the tan rectangle: FFCAE2
Then, put 2 barriers down that are shaped like this and color them with these hex codes: 79B7F1 for the larger one, and 6E7CB4 for the smaller one.
image
image
Then place them on top of the og rectangles and you’re done!

Anyone have any ideas to make it blurred?

I’m thinking of doing Rhythm, Joy of Life by Robert Delaunay: Rhythm
Should I do it?

Also I did quit the forums, but this is just a random post - if you want more check my bioˋ°•*⁀➷

----- this is such a wip I had to get this out bc I have a life -----

Nice guide! I love Rhythm, Joy of Life, so please make it after you do your science olympiad ofc

Pretty good guide, overall!

And the closest thing to possibly make something blurred could be by putting the following text symbols on the sides of the barriers:
▒ ░⛆

EXAMPLE, EXAMPLE!! GET YER EXAMPLE HERE!!!

Cool art! Great to see you again as well :)

It would be nice if you could add more stuffs into this guide, also, wouldn’t this guide be in Art?

I can’t, your bio is publicly hidden lol.

I think it’s in the profile interface, try uncheck the “Hide my public profile” option?

Shouldn’t this be in Community Made Guides ? And just keep the tag barrier-art ?

No, because it’s art related.
It’s literally in the name.
Anything related to art is for the Art tag

but its an art guide. It doesn’t teach you anything other than art, which is the point of an art guide.

But this is guide, therefore it should be in community made guides, and just keep the tag.

Yeah, but art topics aren’t just thumbnails and art requests, it included art guides as well, so we should keep the tag as Art.

Very nice guide, btw.

I painted a bump on a canvas. Great guide, except personally I prefer crayon drawings of stick figures but maybe that’s just me? No? Anyone?

In all seriousness, nice job, but have you ever tried using _ in Roboto to make lines? It works really well, might be helpful if you plan on adding anything to the topic.
