we don’t choose them, they get nominated.
a person will tell us in the software we’re using to gather the needed info to sum-up the awards, and the most popular ones move onto actual voting

I do not believe this has been asked before, as I did Ctrl+F and found nothing, but how would you prevent people from nominating/voting more than once? Does the form allow you to submit only one vote per account?
you basically answered your own question, it’s only one vote allowed per person.
if we find any dupe votes anyways, we wont count it

we figure that out when hexa gives us the thing we’re going to use.
