Escaping the world border in Gimkit (READ FIRST POST BEFORE REPLYING)

I just did a quick check using ctrl+f and there only seems to one method by froyo but it got patched

There is a list of all found methods in post #1.

Do I have to read the first post every time I reply?

No, as long as you have read it at all.

But what if I forgot.

Well then you should probably read it again, but it’s not like we’re coming after you if you posted without reading, as long as you know what you’re talking about.

I just realized something… some of us are doing platformer and some of us are doing classic non-platformer. is there a method that works for both? I’m just wondering.

The checkpoint method should work for all game modes.

I haven’t personally been able to recreate the checkpoint method in platformer (might just be a skill issue)
but I do know that both teleporters and shift clicking still work for both modes as well.

Yes.
I remember the fun days when me and forg were goofing off and using teleporters to slap ourselves in the border.

We made a couple fun contraptions that worked in pushing us in.

the checkpoint method seems to be a bit new, and I will go attempt it now, but somethings that you need to remind yourself of is the

  • center rule
  • putting it in the corner

Hopefully this helps!

When I was trying to get out using knockback I found a weird glitch where I started bouncing permanently and I saw a copy of my character fall through the floor.

Interesting. Have you been able to replicate it?

(and is this related to the world border?)

I don’t think it’s related to the border but I’m currently in the process of trying to replicate it

Then why did you post it here..?

I was thinking it could be able to be used to help escape it.

I tried it again and I couldn’t completely replicate it but it started glitching whenever I got near the questioner and I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the world border because it doesn’t work without the border there

I tried this and it doesn’t seem to work anymore ):
If you leave the border you tp back to (0,0)
Edit: yes this used to work
