The only real way to do this is to instant kill or use pseudo-health and kill them when it runs out.

Pseudo health is essentially a breath meter. A bar that can be affected using channels and the like, and when it reaches 0, you can respawn the player.

Without lasers or sentries, unfortunately, dealing damage is not possible as of right now. This functionality may be coming soon though
Use a seperate game overlay to display it. maybe you can make them slower when it gets lower and it rhymes so it must be true
I know, but they still have a lot of health
When the oxygen dips lower making them slower will surely make it harder to fight and easier to kill
it will break the speed upgrades though
then blind them if they go into the poison gas

You can add an overlay that shows a “pseudo” health property however if you have 4 other overlays it won’t work.
And very, very laggy.
