Different types of weather -biomes-

Good morning fellow gimkiters, today i am gonna make a guide about each weather in a biome. plus i will add planets, let us get started. also this was made before but it got flagged. so the idea credits go @i_need_help_pls.

desert biome

So, firstly, design your desert. I made it like this: I don’t have the season ticket :sob:. Now, for the sandstorm: place a Barrier with the color set to R:200, G:169, B:95, and a transparency of 0.7. Ensure there is no border and collision is off. Then, layer it above everything. Here is the final result:

- Step 2 - (The Affect)

So, of course, when you are in a sandstorm, you can get damaged or become slower, like a :turtle:. So, firstly, bring a Zone that covers the barrier, which represents the sandstorm. Wire the Zone to a Repeater, and wire the Repeater to a Damager device and a Speed Configuration device. Set the speed and damage to whatever you want. Then wire, on channels, “When Player Leaves Zone,” to “Stop Repeater.” Make the Repeater settings to “Stop When It Receives From a Channel.” Here are the settings of everything:

the repeater

Then, set the Damager and Speed Modifier to whatever you want.

Bonus Step (Time)

Bring a Lifecycle that listens to “Game Start.” Wire it to a Trigger (Trigger1). Make sure the trigger delay is set to whatever time you want the storm to come. But if you want it to start when a player enters the Zone, then instead wire the Zone to the Trigger. Then, wire Trigger1 to a Repeater (Repeater1). This Repeater1 is wired to the Barrier and the Zone. Make sure to bring a Lifecycle wired to the Zone, set to “When Event Occurs,” to “Deactivate Zone.” To stop it, bring another Trigger that is triggered when Trigger1 is triggered. Then, set the duration of the sandstorm. Make it so that when this second Trigger is triggered, it stops Repeater1 and deactivates the Zone, plus hides the Barrier. Lastly, make sure that the Barrier is not active on game start. And I think we finished.

Frost Peaks

So a snowy biome have snowy fog, cold and this what i remember, soo let us get started:
now the snowy fog:
add a barrier: R: 169 G:167 B:162
TRANSPERANCY: 0.7
off collision, and no border, should look like this:

-step1- (the look)
so firstly design your snowy biome, i made it like this:

and also layer the barrier to be on top of everything.

-step2-(the affect)
umm, let me search what are the affects of a snow fog, actually, like it is just visibility, soooo no need for this part acually.

bonus step (time)
For this, bring a life cycle that triggers trigger1. make the delay of it when will it happen, after how many seconds, after it wire it to trigger2, when triggered trigger, make the delay in trigger2 how many seconds you want the storm to last. and i think we finished.

Custom Weather By you

W.I.P

also use channels instead of wires, plus instead of repeaters use trigger loop, why cuz they are much much much more simpler and efficient to use.

This is still a W.I.P, so pls wait until i add more things. a tl3 and above can edit without asking, but a tl2 and lower need to ask before they add or edit

  • This guide is useful, might use, can you add more!!
  • useless for me, dont like it
  • trash, it is soo skibidi sigma. never ever gonna even try to do this
  • it is average, useful, just need more improvements

If you want your guide to be a Wiki then just ping a tl4
since they are really busy they might not see your guide.

amm is that allowed, i thought i cant, and also can you rate my guide

I’m pretty sure you can.
your not allowed to ask a tl4 to make your bumps reusable

who do i ping, which one

You can ping turtle or Kat_aronii

i did it, but can you rate my guide

Difficulty rating ? or how good is the guide rating? for either one just make a poll and many people will rate the guide not just me.

Difficulty rating = 2/10’

How good the guide is = 7/10

okay, just saw people rating guide on both of these, mostly how good is it

8/10
Needs more biomes/weather
also you spelled “this” wrong right here

it rains corn you should add this
I don’t need to explanePreformatted text

ok thanks for the tips, today i am gonna add 3 or 2 more

and @IAmSp i am gonna add that in custom weather. what an idea actually

I smell a repeater. Now why are you using a repeater?

seriously, a repe*ter?
you can save yourself 0.35% memory atleast by using a trigger loop

yeah, but what if they don’t know how to?

{trigger1} - triggered - {wire} - trigger - {trigger2}
{trigger2} - triggered - {wire} - trigger - {trigger1}

yay trigger loop

i am sorry, but because i dont know that much how to use a trigger loop, i didnt use it, plus i included it in the bottom for memory efficiency

You can use a single trigger as a loop too, make the trigger trigger when receive on d channel and trigger on x channel when triggered.

okii, do you know what, when @twofoursixeight make this a wiki edit it, okay. add instead the trigger loop
