Demo Videos for Game Making

Hi there,

Is there any demo videos on how to create our own maps for the game? I am trying to create Escape room with code questions, match making, video decode, sites/magazine decode etc. I am not so familiar with the features in Gimkit, so would be great if there is any demo videos that could guide me.

Also, How does the channel work? I tried to create links through wire, but it is not working, which i think is because I didnt update the channels.

Hi, Shichu. There are some demo videos on how to create our own maps for the game, but I don’t think there is a one specifically for escape room or code questions.

If you want a guide about how to create an escape room, you can search the phrase “Escape room” on the search bar. Here is a guide I find for you that I think will help you the most.

While there aren’t any videos on the Gimkit Creative Forum, there are some on YouTube. Here is a playlist I found, and some search results on YouTube. If you cannot find what you are looking for, try using the forum’s search bar at the top right of your screen similar to what Pixel said. There was a recent purge of images, so most guides no longer have them. If you have any specific or unanswered questions please feel free to ask them!

Wires and channels are two entirely different things. You do not need to set up channels for wires to function and vice versa. For channels, make sure the device transmitting and the device receiving have the same channel!
