they should add the thing where regulars have to ask you to edit your post
That kind of defeats the point if someone has something bad
a mod can handle that because an mod can edit other post without permission and we can let them know by flagging it.
they also should make it which regulars can edit our post in which catergories we can let them edit on.
one more thing they should make it to the part where we can make it to the part we can add who we trust to edit our post.
The mods generally have a one to two day response time. Also, the main reason regulars edit posts is changing tags. The mods are busy making gimkit, and tag misuse isnât something they should have to worry about as well.
I think this is ideal, but sadly unrealistic when it comes to this forum. I DO think there should be selective wikis thoughâŚ
You can search for wiki posts anyways
Maybe, but according to Kyro, it would be a pain in the neck to remove all the posts that has âresolvedâ tags in it
Yeah, I guess we can leave the posts that have them, and not use it anymore. That could work.
Alright, so about the beginner-must-read tag. Since itâs specifically about the forum, not gimkit, we should change it to ânew user must read.â Should we do that? This may clear up some confusion.
- Yes
- No
And while weâre at it, we could debate more about what should be considered as a beginner must read, since 14 guides are a lot.
Personally, I think the tutorial that the forum provides, plus some rules set up by the mods, plus some rules we made along the way should be enough. Like one guide.
Yeah, Iâm sure most of them could probably be cut.
We could start by removing it from guides with stuff that are already mentioned by you in the welcome guide.
