People have been making AIs in scratch. If we could make an AI similar to it, then we might be able to do some really cool stuff. I donā€™t know how any of this works though lol

No it wonā€™t. The current AI we have, while it is good at performing complex tasks like writing, isnā€™t capable of actual thought and cannot compete with humans overall.
