There has to be other devices in order to get rid of your silver. It can’t just be a button and a wall.
I obviously have a vending machine and negative item granters
So wire the button to the negative item granter and the wall. The walls start deactivated, and when you press the button, it shows the prop, making it visible and working.

Then you don’t need the negative item granters, since they do the same thing.
Either use negative item granters or vending machines, using both in unnecessary.
