But people say “add bosses” or “add more rooms” cough, cough, @CommanderGOAT, but my brain, is not brain, so Im here for ideas.
My game is a roguelite dungeon crawler where you fight through a dungeon, die, get shards if you get far enough, get permenant upgrades, and repeat the process.
Every now and then you find a rest stop or a portal room, rest stop rooms let you heal and buy better gadgets or healing items, portal rooms let you go back and get shards depending on your points.
I just really need boss ideas/attacks and more room ideas. (Maybe even more special rooms like rest stops or portal rooms).

Do a boss that summons 2 bosses, and those bosses summon 2 bosses (while the boss that summoned them summons 2 more bosses), and so on and so forth, until there are around 100 bosses, then they stop summoning the bosses. [1]

Boss rooms will spawn every 15 rounds. The rooms have a RNG system of spawning bosses, easier bosses spawn more often and harder ones less often. Easier bosses also drop different loot than harder bosses, harder ones dropping better loot and vice versa.
One boss you could do is simply a larger version of the normal enemies. It would have a wooden wand to attack, and can spawn enemies to attack you.
Another one you could do is this goober who’s stats are down below: Name - Revelos The All-Seeing HP - 3000 Attack 1 - Reveal | Fires rapid beams of lasers in succession, dealing 15 damage each Attack 2 - Summon | spawns enemies (I got lazy lol) Attack 3 - Dark Orb | spawns 3 orbs that explode and deal 30 damage each
@JustAToaster You could add a mini-boss room in the middle of the pathway (They would have to defeat the mini-boss to move on) and then a final boss fight at the end of the dungeon. You could also add a secret teleporter which teleports you to a secret shop with OP gadgets.
BTW, after you are done could you send me the link of the game? It looks fun.

after you go in the portal for the first time forever after that it’s converting points to shards

maybe you could have some hazardous flora in the first levels, and then as the boss you could enter a hollow created by their roots and fight the core, a large, yellow heart thingie, with spiderlike creatures attacking you.

Difficulty: Easy
attack 1: shoots tree branches out of the floor to damage players, dealing 35 damage. Cool down: 15 seconds, 10.895 with passive 1
Attack 2:does red laser beams, dealing 50 damage. Cool down: 25 seconds, 15 with passive 1
Attack 3: Can summon 3 smaller Forbidden Trees to attack opponents, cool down is 45 seconds, 32.75 seconds with Passive 1
Passive 1: If the player gets him to 250 hp, he activates rage mode, decreasing cooldowns.
Passive 2- If the player gets him to 10 hp, he will summon 45 minions…maybe 25 actually.
Passive 3-Hollow gets a 15% damage and 25% speed buff, after hitting the player 25 times.
Ultimate Move-He shoots tree branches everywhere, and each one deals 750 damage. he also summons 15 minions, and now has 5 eyes for 5 laser beams… also has 4500 hp now

4th Passive: after dealing 1250 damage to the player, he gains one attack.
Attack 4: Vine eruption: Hollow picks 1-3 spots, then he summons branches on them.
Buffs...?
Each time he hits the player, he gets a 2.25% damage boost, but the player gets a 3.50% and 4.75% damage and speed boost.
Name: Headless Horseman
HP: 2500
Abilities:
-Decapition: when a player gets too close, he will swing his sword and decapitate any players nearby which deals 1000 dmg
-Jack-o-lanterns: he will throw flamming jack-o-lanterns at players which deals 50 dmg every 2 minutes
-Trampling: when not attacking, he will charge his horse towards the player which deals 30 dmg
-Summoning: every 3 minutes, he will start to summon his henchmen, which are the undead
Bonus: You only had a chance to defeat him since he only spawn once, if you succeed to do it, you’ll earn the badge: “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and get a legendary pickaxe (Le Revenant aka his sword) but if you oof during the process, the Headless Horseman will say: “Your souls are mine” and then a menacing laugh.
(Note: this fellow usual moves around and attack players not standing still like a dullard.)
