Blink Blocks guide! 1/10🟦

BEEP BEEP BEEP click BEEP BEEP BEEP click
Have you ever seen/heard this melody? well if you have you are in the right place!
Now if you don’t recognize that melody let me tell you about blinking blocks.
Blinking blocks are blocks that infinitely flicker and disappear blinks blocks are incorporated for timed jumps, they give a time interval and disappear when its up, but then at the same time another block lights up and it gets the same time interval. The final product of these is a timed just area of your obby. With your understanding of blink blocks now lets get to the guide.

For one set of blink blocks

Materials For one set of blink blocks

1x lifecycle
2x counters
2x of any prop or barriers of your choice
2x wire repeters
(wires will be needed to not just channels)

Step 1

First, wire the lifecycle to the repeater and select any task interval you want, then get the counter and set the counter to 1 once it’s set to 1 and set the wire repeater to stop after receiving a channel. Then wire the repeater to the counter to decrement the counter as the task. then go into channels for the counter and add a channel to reset the counter and when the target value is reached. Here is an example:

after this put this same channel on the repeater for when the wire repeater stops. Next, wire the counter to the barrier and make it so that when the counter hits 0 it disables the barrier.
After all this, It should look like this.

now the blue block or half 1 is done
With all this done lets get to the next step!

Step 2

Alright step 2, remember that counter from earlier? well here’s where it will be the connector to the next part of the blocks, red block or half 2, first wire the counter to the second wire repeater, This will start up the second wire repeater. Then wire the wire repeater to the second counter. Then put a different channel in onto the counter with the same set up as in step 1 (when the counter hit target value reset counter) after this wire the second counter to the two barriers or props again to enable the blue barrier and disable the red barrier (side note I forgot make the red barrier disabled off spawn) after all this you device should look like this:

and here is a gif of them blinking:

(don’t question why it says 2 on the counters this was before I reworked the guide a little to be wire repeaters instead and gifs are a pain to make and post in a topic)

Small notes about this

works in both top down and platformers.
if you make a second pair they cannot run on the same channels as the first pair
That’s all the notes for now

And that’s it a simple little guide to blinking blocks! Thanks if you read this all

Ahhhhh repeaters! Instead you could use wire repeaters with a delay and save a ton of memory!

Okay, on step two, you have a HUGE block of text. Try to section or format that just a tad. It jumpscared me.

that’s mb I forgot about the forbidden rule don’t use repeaters, I’ll change it to wire repeaters or say u can use both, And to @Blackjack I will fix the huge clump of text

Alright I shortened the text a bit and changed it to wire repeaters, that was my bad for earlier but its all fixed and reworked now!

Don’t feel bad, guides take a lot of effort just to make and we appreciate that! Everything doesn’t have to be perfect and you should just enjoy your journey and your growth!

You have many spelling errors, I’d recommend checking your guide over. This is also a little bit of a mini guide although it’s fine.

Wait is the official name blink blocks?

I’m gonna be honest, the spelling is slightly horrific, and I have looked in this guide multiple times.

Dude… I already edited and fixed all those
I think you read the guide only the day it came out, It reworked it a bit
