Hey, Ive seen the square root thing in blocks but I don’t know what its for.
Math, just in case you need it. I’ve never used it however.
oh, what is the math for then?
it really has no purpose, but its for math equations. For info on blocks, try asking @Blackhole927 the gimkit hackerman and block expert.
Sometimes the coding requires numbers, and you might need to find the square root so it can set a property to the square root of players? idk I’m just brainstorming.
not sure, most likely equations, that have many outcomes.
SQUARE ROOTS ARE USEFUL FOR DATA COMPRESSION, FINDING GEOMETRIC LENGTHS, ETC. THEY CAN BE USED FOR BASIC MATH, OBVIOUSLY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED GRADUALLY DECAYING STUFF. I PERSONALLY USED SQUARE ROOTS IN A MOVEMENT ENGINE I WAS MAKING FOR ENERGY-TO-SPEED MAPPING.
(sorry for caps, this was a copy paste)
yes, but like the use in JS. not just math
I know this is gonna blow everyone’s mind… the square root takes the square root of a number. I personally haven’t ever needed to use them, but I’m sure there is probably some reason you might want to use them for some algorithm or another.
