In “March 6o at 8:48AM”, I assume the “o” is supposed to be replaced by “th”? If this is some obscure date format I apologize, but it doesn’t look like it.
it’s been like that since GKC publishing released, we don’t know why, and I don’t think it’s any date format. Probably a placeholder
This date format is not a bug and is used everywhere in Gimkit. For example:
Edit: It is definitely a not very known date format, but I couldn’t find any information on it. Look at this search result from a US government website:
It seems like it’s also going on other places at the Gimkit site.
Most likely a Gimkit formatting problem. I’m sure they will fix it, or it is probably something several websites or platforms have going within their coding or something. If they notice, they will fix it, but suggest emailing them so they are aware.
I did some more research on this specific formatting issue, and the “o” is a separator to stop a “slurred” number when speaking. March 6, 2025 sounds like March 62025, which doesn’t make sense, but when they add the o it sounds like March 6 o 2025. I don’t know why this is implemented in Gimkit because we usually don’t have to read out the dates.
they never said it is a bug or a typo so that could be the reason they did not change it
Is it not just an abbreviation of like “March of 2025”? That would make sense to me.
