while I was playtesting, I thought my lobby looked ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. so pls give ideas on how to make it better. I searched and none of teh guides caught my interest.

Is it a dungeon-like theme?
Alien plants maybe?
vines?
I added vines don’t u see with ur 2 large eyeballs?

those are empty corn stalks aren’t they?
How about the more creepy looking vines?
the ones used to depict ancient looking stuff and broken machines.
Those kinds.
Maybe medieval stuff?

Well, for one make the corn stalks vines more irregular i.e varying the size.
Also, you could add more detail to the background.
You can also lAyEr YoUr TeRrAiN. (I’m not mad 
, layered terrain just looks better, especially in platformers).
Wait, are all of your gadgets Legendary? No, no, nonopinapple. It’ better to either make them all Rare or Uncommon, then the player can choose better gadgets in the shop. And maybe remove the outliers (ie. the Twister, the Evil Eye, and the Pickaxe. Those gadgets are either too OP or very hard to use).
Also add props to liven it up. Sum recommendations would be the Armor Stand, Shield Display, Market Stall, Fruit Boxes (Any).
It would also be good to add sum text saying “The Armory” for the players. It just looks very sigma nice.

I created something, it’s not much but kinda of a reference of what I was saying before.
bottom left and top is examples of bricks you can do..
You can add more of the stuff I mentioned, this is just an example.
Of course, your lobby is bigger so you can enlarge the whole thing.

How about for the vines, use groundbreaking plants and just flip them upside down or something.
