I think the recent wave of banning was for students creating a second account as an educator, but I might be wrong. And if this is a mistake, emailing the mods would definitely get anything like that sorted out. So yeah make sure to contact them.

You violated the gimkit TOS in some way. Most likely, you published a map that broke the publishing rules. Team Gimkit issues temporary account bans for those who break the rules.
