The thumbnail should be grayscale, however shades of gray like blue-grey are allowed. Keep them to a minimum!
There should be one gim, completely gray and simple (VERY important, use a basic gim if you can), alone in this grassy wasteland. Uh. The grass is green-gray. The remains are just any shade of gray.

You can put a shadow of a square behind the bland grey gim (lore purposes)

Please put time into this thumbnail. Don’t make it in 15 minutes, spend some time.
also wouldn’t recommend doing this if you are a beginner :( (but you can try, I can’t stop you)
Is it okay if I use the font used for the Friday Night Funkin’ title, except smoother and more calm, or do it like the Forsaken title?
With both titles I’d just do a Forsaken-style background, as in gradient black to white, top to bottom, with a few trees and ruined buildings just visible.
Is that quote from Forsaken, spoken by Noli, which is originally from Dead By Daylight?

you can use any font, go for what fits your thumbnail
I feel like this looks pretty good. But if you have any thoughts or constructive criticism about this then feel free to share it. I found a font called ‘Fira One’ that I feel looks pretty nice.
To give you a little glimpse of my plan:
In the top: Very cloudy sky[1], blackened, and a barely visible crescent moon, and a sad face in the empty part because that part is gone…
In the upper middle: A few crumbling buildings and some dead trees
The middle: The gim, having the same face as Noob does when hurt in Forsaken (without the mouth, ofc), along with the shadow taking place as Solitude from Block Tales
The lower middle: grass (monochromatic), waving in the wind that sweeps memories away
The bottom: The title, next to a picture
consider the Fergo cooked.
Take for example the red sky when playing Knuckles in Sonic.exe Nightmare, but monochromatic ↩︎
(Oh boi… first day back in at least 3-4 months and I already decided to do a second thumbnail despite the work I already gotta do… Welp, I’ll do my best.)
Before I get ahead of myself, @TheC00l3stG1m1nT0wn, would you like the gray square to be like your concept sketch (attached to the gim), or a shadow of a cube in the sky (sorta like what CommanderGOAT did)?
Edit: Btw, it’s the last part I need to do for the thumbnail.
