My first thumbnail request, for my first published game… I grew up so fast lol
Name of Game: Little by Little (I think. It’s still being workshopped lol, just be ready for me to change it-- keep the title on a separate layer or something hah)
Summary: Ya got shrunk after drinking a potion you made by accident. Now you have to make your way through a hamster maze to find the antidote at the other side.
Setting: Oof, that’s hard-- it’s a series of little mini-levels made out of props. There are quite a few levels, actually, so howzabout y’all do the final level? It’s the lab. Think big scientific stuff and potions and whatnot up on huge, high counters that you have to platform up. Colors of the level are white/light gray/stuff in a “sterile” type color palette for the counter and basic surroundings, and big, bright colors for the chemical spills, potions, and equipment.
Gims: One gim of your choice! He’ll be pretty small compared to everything else. My one preference for the gim is that he isn’t a Truck-o-Tron or something complicated-- try a basic gim, simple design, or a simple custom you made :]
Character actions: Looking up at the huge climb in front of him. As for perspective, I’m thinking a view of the gim’s back. You can also put him closer to the “screen,” in a corner, or something.
Random Example:
Wait, how’d that get there? Lemme try again.
What the… okay it’ll be right this time I swear
FINALLY. Just some really rough sketches of placement ideas, but y’all can do y’all.
Author of Game: Moi, aka bakedpotato >:D
Due Date: Sometime before December. I need to get this published before my level refreshes and I hafta start all over ;-;
I’ll be swapping out the thumbnails frequently, so it’s likely that all of you will get a chance at some point! The only “best thumbnail” competition factor really in this is just who’ll be displayed first.
Also, little reminder: thumbnails have to be in a 1280 x 720 (16:9) size ratio to fit, so make sure you do that ![]()
Thanks in advance, and ping me if you have any questions!
