It only let’s me set it to 0.15

Yep, prop alpha can only go as low as 0.15. No way to bypass it.

what? then why does the text say 0 is invisible if you can’t even make it invisible

Barriers can go to 0% (well, really close to 0)
not props

is there a way to make something be damaged but also have a transparency of 0.00

So the players know how the alpha system works.
yeah it’s annoying, but you can try to make the prop using barrier art if you want alpha between 0+ -0.15

Layer a barrier (without collision) on top

No keep the alpha at 1, remove the border.
You have to keep the terrain a solid color. Make the barrier the same color as the terrain.
(also make it no collision or player-scoped so projectiles can go through)

^ see above

:expressionless: there is no terrain that doesn’t have a pattern

Well its the closest thing to being invisible.
I guess tint a ceramic plate the same color as the terrain and set its alpha to 0.15, that might work.

eh thanks for trying
at least
