So whadaya all talking about?

Is this still WIP?

Joining in on Navy bumping old things…

zones can be simulated with a lot of lasers and some blocks

also aren’t counters turing complete by themselves? (and wires) - you can make a turing machine with just a chain of counters, and you can reset them when they hit a target value, so really we only need counters and some input device to create all of gimkit

Yeah, but triggers and blocks will make it easier

Everything in gimkit

Edit:
Oh crap didn’t mean to post this, meant to hit delete
I started on a thought and then realized it made no sense

well, i think i made a small list that might’ve been covered already, idk:

  • crafting table can be recreated like this system
  • vending machines, as we all know, can be made with an item granter, button, and checker.
  • um, i’ll be back

You can technically create all of gimkit with text objects, triggers, and properties.

Do you mean Gimkit as in Gimkit itself or Gimkit Creative?

Both of them.

Like, the gamemode making?

Gimkit is Turing complete.
The Turing completeness proof I wrote used triggers and properties.
Text can be used to make a screen.
These combined allow for anything that can run and be displayed on a computer to be run in Gimkit.

Therefore, gimkit can be written in gimkit with only triggers, properties, and text.

… genius

Have you tried this yet? What is your opinion about counters?

(blackhole interview lol)

so we can make gimkit in gimkit

and theoretically we could make gimkit in gimkit in gimkit in gimkit…
