Bump!
it is really hard to wait until it’s been 5 days lol.
I don’t think we wait till five days anymore- I think 2-3 days is minimum (because under that is insane but its not an official rule)
omg this is amazing it rlly help w/ terrain art!
I love this guide!
this guide is utterly magnificent.
Personally I’d go with the regular dirt because it blends better with the grass, but the mud also looks really nice with the details. It’s your call.
Whichever you like better, you should use.
Bump!
I like mud because the cracks make it look realistic because gravity would make pieces fall out. but make the ground not grass because it’s hard to see.
I love mud.
btw I also found a game with great terrain layering on discovery:
Map name: “sentrys batle idk”
I played it with my friends and it’s so much fun
No way this brother spelled “Awesome” correctly.
It’s not on trending
YET
Good guide + Reuseable bump + W
Oh yeah I also learned a while back that wall terrain will always go over floor terrain, no matter the layer placement.
This means that there’s technically nine layers of terrain.
More layers for 3D terrain :D
@here
Wowzerz!! Are those grassy stairs? Those look really cool! I can maybe add those to one of my games. That reminds me, how’s your Timed Out game going?
Still need to implement a leaderboard and a winning system. Homework kinda stopped the progress lol.
I heard you’ll use Aubec’s thumbnail. And you also said you might use my thumbnail and Voidfluffy’s as well. Actually I haven’t had many games that are published use my thumbnail before. I sound so weird saying this…
Easy to understand, and fun to read! Nice guide
BUMP
